Btw I can get around the parry, only using melee too, but when i play ft, i feel like using the parry is no harder than swinging my combi.
Sure pred melee is a bit easier.
But I dont feel parry takes a shit load of skill.

In any case the reason I wanted to actually voice chat is cause I feel itd be easier to get our points across and actually reach a compromise. Cause right now all you’re doing is just trying to shut down those who dont agree with you, instead of trying to truly understand where we come from.

You push the button you get the parry once the pred swings, frames are pretty generous. Not different from a zerk just mashing melee.

@Finessology Dude, you’re not supposed to fight the fireteam in melee that way. This is the things you keep ignoring. But whatever. Get the elder sword, chip at the health, come from the back and floor the FT in 2 hits before he can do shit. That is how you’re supposed to play. if you have the combi come from the back, hit him, when he pulls out the knife you 1 shoot him with a good combi throw (he will already be down on hp).

Well I’m actually interested in this game getting to a good state of balance, and when it comes to disagreements the only way to get to that, would be to see what compromise ppl can get too.
But this requires both sides to actually try and understand the other, and talk things out.

High risk low reward beyond cornerchecking people due to the ease of parrying. Just shoot them from the adjacent building with bow instead.
Whats better is disc. Double hit 135 is insta down. Im so good with it… especially on trap setups
@wingtip Always use Netgun if ur the melee type. That dude would have to run towards the staircase or fall to his death while u are clapping his cheeks
Way ive been beating full PC squads recently, is combistick focus… as a ranged weapon. Hit them once, they parry, throw it in their face and downed.
Why do people say 2 FT members did this? 3 FT members each did about 700 to 1000 damage.

Well see, you didnt consider the direction of the wind, so the ft caught your scent as you approached, and then when you began your battle, you swung at 65 degree angle instead of a 60 degree, and it lead to you getting parried. XD
