I’m not trying to attack you, just stating what I observe. You said “maybe don’t push it if you plan on sticking around.” How could I have misconstrued that phrases meaning as other than a threat?

I’m not saying you have malicious intent. I’m just pointing out examples of you being rude. Not saying that I am deeply upset, or that it’s surprising someone hiding behind the internet is rude, I’m just stating it. Your opinion, and you being rude are hardly relevant to each other. The only times they are in the examples I pointed out are when YOU said that YOUR opinions were the correct ones: “-which it is” (in regards to “Is AVP canon?”). That’s not me dismissing your opinion and using the excuse of you being rude to do so, that’s you entitling yourself to your opinion as the correct one while in a conversation about a debate of two opinions. Opinions by definition are neither right nor wrong but can vary in degree of accuracy and liklihood. That’s it. No I don’t think your opinion is wrong, I just disagree with it. That’s literally it. Although in this particular case there is an absolute answer that we are debating over, so, while the opinions of these facts are neither right nor wrong, the actual facts themselves prove one argument over another. And I’m sure parts of AVP are canon, but it’s my belief that they are at their core non-canon.
Stating your opinion is one thing, presenting it as the correct one before the debate has even begun is another one. A rude one, in my opinion, and that isn’t me making up any excuses.

An opinion that is based on the facts can be right. Ie. if it is a hundred percent accurate then it is not only an opinion but also a fact.
The facts in the AVP debate are pretty clear. They literally show props from AVP in The Predators. My opinion is based off of the facts.

I mean I wouldn’t argue if that were definitely the case, but I think it could go a different direction. Agree to disagree. I mean it’s not like the JH is even that big of a deal mechanically. Doesn’t necessarily feel any different than the regular hunter, his stats are alright, it’s mainly cosmetic and even then you can still get his mask and the Elder looks similar.
Like I said before, I still think something could be done but it’s not the end of the world and I can understand wanting to keep the exclusive permanently exclusive.

A prop does not prove that one universe exists within another. That’s an associative fallacy.
The question of continuity is in narrative, not prop or production design. It might appear the same as other Predator films, but that does not mean it is continuous with it.
An opinion is always an opinion, even if based in fact. If it is based on a fact, then an opinion is meaningless next to the absolution of the fact.

Also yeah I can’t really remember the importance of it being canon in our argument, anyway. I think it was arbitrary.
My argument was just that being able to play as the Predalien would be too absurd to make any sense or be appropriate since the Predalien is a xenomorph with Yautja characteristics, and not at all even related to any sect of the culture of Yautja or even a creature that hunts. It’s focus is to just kill and reproduce.
I think maybe it could work as a boss in a PvE Predator versus Alien mode but that’s about the extent.
Either way, when it comes to classifying canon, obviously it matters if AVP is or isn’t. Which I believe it isn’t. Haven’t proved it yet though so it’s just an opinion at the moment.
Thank you, I’m not a troll or just here for the fights, I do enjoy them though. I may be a bit touchy about being told I’m threatening as that’s ban worthy and not a thing I want misinterpreted.
JH is best avoided though as it gets people super spun up. I really was just trying to warn you earlier.
PS. We know they’re coming Blood, just when it looks like we’re struggling, Xeno’s will arrive and save the day.
Predalien is more than a xeno with Yautja characteristics. It’s quite literally both species.
I think it could work in game easily but it would have to include xenos of every class

I think it’s important to realize how threatening something we don’t intend as a threat can be. Perhaps I’ve said threatening things as well without realizing it. Either way, sorry if I upset you in any way somehow, didn’t mean to but it’s difficult to argue a point to someone who wants no business with even acknowledging it. Seemingly so, anyway. And yes, noted moving forward.
This could be a thing. Also if they add a 3v1 all Predator mode the one will need to be something as powerful as the Assassin or Predalien. I think that route is more likely and as you said it will be like a boss fight.
Edit - not that I don’t think we will also get a vs Xeno mode, but like I said that will likely be way out in the future when we need to boost to the player base.
PS. I do dismiss people when arguing it’s… habit.
