Spin just leave him be, don’t rise to him. If he knows it, that’s good. Others don’t. And it’s always helpful to have easy to access points of reference for new players or lurkers who browse.

Not for nothing but…he is right. While OPs info is pretty accurate it’s like preaching the gospel to the choir as the old saying goes.

He’s more than likely to get an argument that assault+bane+deadly is a higher DPS output than scout+bane+duelist around here.

Trying to get this info to the people who need it is the challenge and I can tell you…posting it here doesn’t reach it’s target audience.

Appreciate the post all the same

The Reddit is down at the moment so I couldn’t really post it to the much more casual audience, so I thought I’d throw it out here first as an easy point of reference and starting place. Sure, several people here know it. Several don’t. The moment you start getting it out from one place to the next, it spreads. Word of mouth gets it used more. Etc, etc.

I Prefer Assault+Deadly+Bane with Body Armour and Persistent. Using AR-W with Red dot and Extended Mags or Mercenary 87 to deal with Pred, then either XDB-12 with Red dot and Extended Mags or Z-06 with Red dot and Extended Mags.

With the attitude that dude is having I’d expect to see topics like this being posted last week, checking the forum for topics (not posts) shows that the last Topic spefically about this build was done back 3 patches ago, before the two buffs to Pred Armor and the like, aside from random comments on other threads of course

Eh…I mean honestly it’s more the presentation. Like I personally give the benefit of the doubt but…when I read a post titled “A gift from a Pred main” in my head it kinda goes “Behold peasants!” Minor thing that can be misinterpreted

It’s more like “Well I don’t like that I’m going to be promoting an absolutely broken FT build in the hopes more & more people start using it, but I don’t like Bow Hoppers because they ruin the game for FT and make the rest of us Pred players look like assholes, so may as well try and get the word spread far & wide.”

I’ve played with @Durbs2001 in the past before I really stopped getting on here and on PHG that much. He’s really good, and he will melt predators.

I don’t like that FT have some broken stuff going on and I don’t like that it can become so wide spread, but if you give me the choice of making the FT even more powerful or letting Bow Hoppers go on their merry way and scare off new players and ruin the fun, then pass me that knife because I’ll stab myself to reach the bad Pred players behind me.
