My personal opinion on bunny hop spammers is different, but full disclosure they’re usually PC and I don’t encounter them as often as the PC community does

I do the same as you and give ppl tips, but I do it in publics to those are struggling lol.
I always have if I’m in game chat and they ask or I ask them and they tell me they’re newer.

As for the bunny hoppers?
For the most part ignore them, do the mission, and engage only if absolutely necessary.
Scout duelist has been the META people refuse to use, even till this day.
People still ain’t going to use it cause they’d rather health and dmg resistance.
Only the big boys and a handful of melons truly rock… the scout duelist… properly.

Oh I’m on console. Have been since day 1. Not a PC gamer honestly, outside of playing some classics like Doom & Jedi Academy, etc. I just dislike people who hop all over the place whilst spam firing the Bow because it reflects badly on the rest of us who prefer to play Pred and promotes a bad standard.
I can deal with PCDS, they’re honestly not THAT hard once you understand how they operate and you specifically build a Pred loadout around countering them and them alone, but seeing my fellow Pred players resort to bad tactics just don’t sit well with me, so I’ll help promote the good word for making FT stronger than they should be to counter them even if it ends up in me facing much harder matches in the process.
Also while I fucking hate the elf wanna be motherfuckers hopping round with the bow,

They play like that because they scared of losing and are honestly a bunch of try hards. I can take a loss or two now and then, Preds shouldn’t win every match otherwise no one would play FT, but if I can learn how to fight against even PCDS with a Scout that sticks to Combi & Netgun: then they don’t have to hide behind bunny hopping with the bow to get their wins. They should put in the time & effort like the rest of us who actually care about the game.
FT is way too strong right now & the amount of benefits that Specs offer, alongside how many gear options they have, is kinda insane. But I’ll take fighting a bunch of Death Squads over & over against having the Bow Hoppers propogate throughout our side.
They’re usually linear, granted it’s a little harder to change direction it’s usually quick to track and time so that you light them up while landing. Yeah they can bleed the FT fast but there’s still counter play to it, especially with more than 1 good FT player (however rare that is)

Ya I hate the bow hop style too, but i like the pistol hop style with the handheld pc.
On the bow it feels lame on the pistol it feels fucking cool like you’re having a shootout with the ft.

If they cant handle that loss and quit, even tho ft holds the advantage, then idk what to tell ya.

Bow Hoppers won’t go away if you nerf FT, they’ll just be emboldened. They’ll make it worse for FT and Pred players will keep getting shit on. Until they nerf the Bow, I say push for the FT to double down on its own BS. After all, just makes it more fun for Pred mains if they can win fair & square against better and better FTs.

I actually have helped a lot of new players. Got several of them into the Discord where a lot of info is compiled. I also REFUSE to harm Solo FT players if their team quits on them or disconnects before the match starts. No honor in hunting 1 person. No honor at all. So I decloak and reveal myself to them and help them do their mission for the XP.

I love facing now hoppers because it’s a power Fantasy that I’m literal the only person in a group of randoms that has the brain to turn around when the Predator disappears in front of me.
