I meant better games in the sense that theres games that don’t really have bugs or glitches.
Idk sad for me cause when this game was in its early months it really seemed like it was going to be a great game that got hugely popular lol.

You probably aren’t alone there mate , I cant speak for anyone else but I was the exact same as yourself . Update after update that optimism got smaller and smaller , its like being in an abusive relationship and telling yourself that this time is the last time you will get beaten . The state of the game wouldn’t be ideal but easier to accept if they weren’t putting out paid dlc with its current pattern , of fixing and breaking . The big update next month? Yeah I will wait and see instead of being hopeful , and thats not on me , its on the history so far
Playing chicken in traffic with only one leg sums up what kind of night you might have turning this game on , or you might not . I’m more surprised when it works

Yip , its not a misplaced train of thought . I’m starting to come to the conclusion they can’t fix it? At least not while they still add “content” , as it seems to set off a chain reaction leading to some bug

Yeah this was a huge problem for conan exiles.
Everytime they release a new update something goes wrong.
I would say its just cause of the ps4, but even the pc version had issues.
So its just a problem for most games no a days sadly.
Honestly as long as they can can run extensive testing to make sure all the issues, or most will he fixed I wouldn’t mind waiting a while for new stuff.
Kind of off topic but it makes me wonder why some games a bug can be fixed within the first week of it being found, but on others seemingly the devs have no clue why it’s happening and it takes like a months or two.

If I had to guess? It would either be down to resources or the complexity of the software? It reminds me of two types of people , the people that are anal about cables and put up the pretty beading that hides the cables running from devices , and the people who have them tangled up like a plate of spaghetti. The funny people have it so much simpler and the other (sometimes myself) are ranting and yelling about the fucking cables being tangled . So in words , illfonic come across to me as tanglers, the yelling ive no idea , but you get what I mean . A problem is simpler to navigate

dude have you ever played MK or SF online? or apex legends, or battlefront, or battlefield? did you felt it was fair or fun when you were getting your ass kicked and it required a ridiculous amount of effort to win?
there’s always gonna be top players that seem unbeatable. it will take a lot of time, practice and dedication to beat them. it will be frustrating and for most people, not fun.
i am a musician. i know the rewards of patience and being persistent. like i said, a week ago one of them was unbeatable to me in a team. Now I can put pressure on them. is only a matter of time and keep practicing before I get my win. Like Gesp said to me, “you’ll get there”

i probably played like 100 matches as FT before I won my first one.
Especially since the latest patch, I feel it’s well balanced. I only ever get dummied if I’m not paying attention or overly tired as the predator. Overall a good fire team is a dangerous beast and a lazy Predator is a dead predator.
Was just saying that I almost never lose as pred and I’m honestly average or slightly better imo. FT is OP but sometimes I think it’s hugely exaggerated unless you get a lot of premades.
I have I was top 200 in mkx the first year of it’s life and that was considerably more fun than this
And in evolve I was literally the number one ranked wraith player until it went free to play

And when I started playing ft 1 month after the game came out I won 68 matches in a row cause it was so easy
All anecdotal mind you but making sure your meta game is fun or at least includes some healthy diversity is pretty important in an online multiplayer game
I played since day one and that very first month Pred was hell. He would literally jump in and kill everyone with melee. You were level 10 facing preds level 45+. There were little to none premades. Most people, like still, off coms. It was a nightmare
And so did I I just exclusively played pred during that time which considering only 5 guns have ever been nerfed for ft none of which were top tier guns aside from the hammerhead and parry has been nerfed 2 times I know that Zerker combi wasn’t actually overpowered ft players were just bad as parries would have stopped it the ak would’ve stopped it so would have the 2nd ar lmg probably 1011 and the 2nd smg ft dmg has only gotten higher outside of the 2nd shotgun 7en hammerhead Abrz (first sniper) 2xl (twice) and the other gun I don’t remember
If they didnt do a balance patch up until late August (or whenever dutch 2025 came out) the heavy preds would be in a much better place than they are now
the game is unbalanced as, pred vs 2+premades its 99% lose for pred

a premade duo for me now is around 70% win for me, if they are really good. and I’ve only been playing pred for a little over a month now
how many times you won as pred vs ft duo/trio ?
or how many times you lost as ft when you were 2+ premades ?
with my duo i have won most preds in this game and we are average ft players
yeah, as a solo ft I win almost 90% of my games. That’s not because the game is unbalanced, is because 90% of pred players are just bad
impossible for 90% been so bad . that never happens in any game (or your are pro ft ) the game is just unbalanced
the only reason ppl dont understand it is because random ft dont play like team
impossible? very, very possible when 90% of the player base are 10 year olds that don’t post here.
