probably on the grunts is still the same, but the juggernauts were not that buffed. They were a lot easier to kill, specially with headshots. Given the increased weapon damage from FT and the fact that they feel stronger now, even after that, I’d say is safe to say they were buffed. Anyway, reducing FT damage and reducing AI health the same amount just seems fair.

TBH most of the time they are far more lethal than most preds, lol
It makes absolutely no sense how a fucking helmet or body armor can stop a .50 cal. Unless you use perks and specializations to increase damage, you won’t 1 shot those armored ones with any weapon. And even with those, if you are far enough, they won’t go down.
To me, is absolutely ridiculous how the damage is decreased with distance against AI but against PRED is almost the same across the whole range.

I never could get into it because regular humans took 1000 bullets to kill sometimes.
Not an exaggeration because the game works off rpg mechanics.
So typically I hate that.
That’s also why I hate pkaying core modes instead of hardcore in fps games.
Normal humans should die in 2-3 shots no more.
However for this game, since ft takes a lot to kill, it only makes sense that A.I. does as well.

FT hits their skill ceiling way before pred does and theirs is 4x more effective when they do so. Id level with you if pred was atleast rewarded for headshots but nope the damage output just isnt there if you get 1 good player vs 4 good players, then only give one side specializations and hitscan weapons. Its pretty blatantly one sided. Oh no pred has the shit AI on his side I guess and an endless supply of DLC melee weapons that are all worse than the elder sword you get at like lv10 while FT gets Hammerhead lmao
This was a thing when FT could INFINITELY PARRY giving them insane 1v1 potential at this point in time esp since preds couldnt aim and only wanted to melee but people would rather bitch about “braindead combistick melee” rather than just taking two seconds to figure out that you could equip your knife and mash heavy attack and just permastun the guy swinging combistick around.
Now the game is just caster keep away while field medic just revives over and over woo hoo.
still say there needs to be a ranking system and buffs/nerfs based on ranking. not divide player pools by rank, player base is small enough as it is.
4 ‘high rank’ FT members get a DPS nerf vs a low rank predator and pred gets more damage/heath etc etc

Did a detailed post about it many many months ago, still see its a problem with ballance and impossible to ballance for all skills without some measure of player skill.
Distance shots with assault rifles need turned down against pred, pred needs to stop giving its position away by clicking. Ranged weapons need to lose the glow trail that give your position away.
