I’m not saying anything about content yet, but i’m sure it won’t be out until August of this year much like the first game.

same dude. I’m keeping my expectations relatively low and even at that this sequel would be expansive above the original. Anything else would be icing on the cake.

for real? I played it for like 2 weeks and got bored pretty fast. The story was meh and the gameplay repetitive as fuck

PvE is what it is. Its not Avatar Frontiers where you get missions to pick eggs to make a pie. No lie. There are missions like that.

Saw the reveal and aside from adding the king xeno it looks exactly the same as the 1st. Need to see more and what else the game has to offer like an actual drawn out campaign, pvp modes, etc.

The only saving grace for this sequel is if there are actually something interesting to see before you deploy such as the much missing cinematics. Hopefully the game loads faster and there are more things to do on a ship with nothing to do.

Yea lets see what they do with it, says thissummer so id imagine there will be gameplay trailers and ign dives into the games new additions assuming there is additions

it looks like a slightly better version of the original

even their pc builds were dropping frames

dont have much hope after seeing the first mission

at least Alien Isolation 2 is coming

their build was a work in progress, possibly still using resources they aren’t suppose to.
There was alot of drops i saw, but dude was whipping that mouse like he didn’t know how to control it.

I don’t know where they are going with it as lots of the shadows are coming from lots of sources and they didn’t bother with ambient occlusion lighting or that it was so little that nothing was lit well. very harsh and tonally extreme, the self shadowing on a persons backpack wasn’t even being placed on the body. Apart from that the shadows are unique because there aren’t many lights turned on in this colony-power is out i suppose. They are trying to capture the start of ACM i imagine.

sadly the people playing look like they’ve never played a video game in their lives so that doesn’t really help the image
