I think excluding the writing/dialogue for the show degrading in quality towards the end of the show, I was satisfied with my viewing, and look forward to a potential continuation.

I havenât watched it yet, everything was looking pretty interestingâŚand then they made the Xenomorph into a fucking pet attack dog, and the image of the Alien with the baby Alien hanging on the outside of the cage/prison thing made me nearly drop kick my fucking laptop screen. But a superpowered synth that can talk to xenomorphs, pet them and domesticate them into being loyal attack dogs. GTFOH with that bullshit.

I liked the show. I think its good tv. doesnât mess with my stomach or push an agenda.
I love the sarcasm that those are in any way relatable to gaylien earth. Start up that meat grinda we back at it baby!!

why not weâve had a synth who thought he was god so why not a synth that can communicate with Xenos. keyword communicate because theyâre smart enough to have languages and complex problem-solving skills, and this series might even be the introduction to abstract thought for xenomorphs with giving them moral dilemmas since they now have more potential to be more than the thing that goes bump in the night now

All these synthetics have one common thing in all Alien movies.
They end up thinking they are above everyone else, aka superior.
Imagine if T.Ocullus could possess one of those, that would be scary as hell.

I personally have mixed feelings with what they did about the Xenos. I havenât watched the show, so bare with me if I get anything wrong đ but from what I can understand, I really like the fact that they arenât a giant mindless hivemind, that they are actually smart. But I really want their animal aspect and not have some annoying as moral dilemmas - if anything, I feel like Predators should have this typa stuff. I want them to act like how they did in Alien Bloodlines - Animals (who are smart ofc). Like the Alpha Xeno, just fighting to protect their young and live. Not sure about the whole Promethiusâ cleansing flame thing, but I think thatâs cool. Itâs alright if you disagree tho.

I was never a fan of Prometheus or Covenant, I donât really see them as âAlienâ movies tbh Theyâre vanity projects at best.

I made the unfortunate accident of seeing the difference between youtube videos of common trends that are video diaries/commentary/or interviews and the highest grossing hits were that of where one gets to find out how not to get screwed over your own views on something.
Its sad.
I commend and applaud all those who voluntarily comment on this thread, but sadly the ones who win are the ones who are most FEARFUL of being taken advantage of in terms of their personal thoughts and feelings.
So who are these people? Its the people who scoff at everything saying this is shit. this thing is bad. I donât like this and that blah blah blah. and then not even given themselves time or credibility as to why they feel like that. Building up a thick skin is what HITS with everyone. Even though its the popular opinion to NOT have an opinion, it jeopardizes your society into that bubble of âhive mindâ.
What makes matters worse is that these people donât even elaborate. Thinking âWell, i guess i spoke my opinion, lets see if everyone else agrees. and they do at some surface level.â

The saddest part about watching positive reviews of trash like this is that its all insubstantial points with âits just my opinionâ strewn about.
Its why I donât offer my feelings or opinions. I only talked about the objective quality of the media. If this was truly about opinions and everyone believed that, the threat would be quite short as everyone would put down a single post and thats it. Iâve no control over your feelings on the media.
Once more, you just describe your own actions in this thread. I donât know what band wagons people you watch, but I donât say everything is shit. Only the shit is called shit. And you keep bringing up feelings, this has nothing to do with feelings. Its just bad. Of poor quality, pig slop. Its not a hive mind to see what is clearly in front of you. Is it a hive mind that the earth is round? How about the hive mind of the sky being blue? And then you bring up your own points as negatives. You throw out your opinion without any depth, but when the opposition brings evidence, its ignored and another insult is thrown.
You are allowed to like bad things. But liking them doesnât make them good. People of all kinds enjoy and dislike things regardless of their quality. I like Face Off. Its not a good movie, but I still enjoy it. I dislike 2001. I can see why its such a well made film, it just doesnât do it for me.
But if youre just going to throw insults when people hate on something bad that you like, thatâs all on you. And then you make a post like this decrying the people you disagree and your evidence is projecting your own failings onto them. It shows the quality of your character.

I disagree. Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien Covenant, Alien Romulus all have Synths that donât put themselves above humans.
