Maybe, just maybe you deserve MEMing because thats all you’ve really had to offer in the first place. Therefore, i’m just responding in respect to that.
Same reason why the producers of Predator Badlands needs to show JAR JAR so suddenly and so early. Nobody expected it, nobody wanted it. JAR JAR KEVIN on that shit all the way until it proves itself worthy.
Here are a few things that bothered me about the show so far:
When Morrow is taking to Mother and the last survivor is at thd door asking to be let it, she’s a little distressed but should be psychotic after seeing what xeno did to others.
Wendy’s knife didn’t melt when xenos acid was on it after she stabbed it through container top.
Eggs didn’t open in brother’s presence but did when Kid Cavalier was near.
The kids should act at least a little scared with alien life around, but theyre kinda chill. I could see them being curious too and that would take some fear away.
The rescue unit sent to the ship had no comms or didn’t try to communicate with each other.
The timeline bothers me, but whatever on that one. It allows to show how the five corporations interact with each other prior to Weyland-Yutani dominance.
Overall acting is not too bad, especially from the other kids, besides not being scared on the ship. They do have kid mannerisms and each has own quirks. Brother is ok. Morrow and Kirsh are pretty good. Wendy I’m still not sold on, but she should be better for the lead. So far it’s all ‘my brother this and my brother that’. Very one dimensional. Hopefully her role gets more varied.

jebuz, maybe a point of lore was mislead with you and these ideas have an abundance of meaning for a mere 2 seconds when they were made to not really mean anything to the viewer…you need to let lore “concept or fictitious shit” move aside for the sake of you know…storytelling which didn’t let anything down either way. unless you really thing that that thing she stabbed the alien with should have disintegrated like a snowflake.
i noticed that they could have just used coms devices…but you know. if they couldn’t maybe there was no point in explaining that they didn’t. Hense they didn’t. Otherwise thats like needing to explain more and more shit.
All in all, i thought the same things @Anyt1m3 for about 30 seconds where i thought it didn’t need to make more sense because people don’t spend time thinking about things that are worth 30 seconds worth of sense.
They’re there to rescue folks with one doc. Seems like comms would be a priority.

or if all of that shit is irrelavent and they didn’t or couldn’t establish comms directly to an individual through “THOUGHT WAVES”…who the fuck knows. thats not the point.
If they couldn’t do it, then they couldn’t otherwise they would have…and there is no point in making them do it and ending the campaign short.
They could have played it better. Brother didn’t have to approach the eggs.

Its details; not hard to fix
too much cognitive details. I mean if you gave everyone guns, doesn’t mean they are all gun experts with a billion hours training. At the same time to telll the story, you can’t tell all of that in a few minutes.
And if you did, there would be too many details for people to digest.
Simplicity gets to the point.
To the point of the eggs not hatching just because you thought it would doesn’t mean that it always should…like some reflex action.Otherwise, wouldn’t Ripley be dead before she fought the Queen?
