Aliens: Fireteam Elite

Successful teams Ive seen are on comm devices (this ive witnessed from Streamers). They do communcate to get out of tough situations.

Just got my ā€œHorde Slayerā€ weapon skin! Itā€™s so bad ass! Makes it look like your guns are all burnt up and melted by acid! REALLY COOL!
You get it by beating ā€œHorde Modeā€ on ā€œIntenseā€ difficulty. šŸ’ŖšŸ»

Next I gotta beat Horde Mode on ā€œExtremeā€ to earn the Horde Slayer Armor and ā€œInsaneā€ to get my Horde Slayer Helmet.

I wants it!! The Horde Slayer set is myyyyyy precioussssss!!! Haha! šŸ¤˜šŸ»

its impossible without using cards that increase your dmg so i would suggest using that. Even if everyone is 710 lvl.

You canā€™t use card in both Horde Mode and Point Defense. Cards can only be used in missions.

Two Technicians, One Gunner or Demolisher.

You NEED Flame Turrets, have your Techs spec into the Flame Turret and have a 4 slot damage increase. Then spec into Quick Charge and Range increase on your coils

The Gunner needs to spec fully into Overclock. If they want, they can use the Flame Wall and knock down opponents but thatā€™s not needed when Charge Coils are being used.

If running a Demo, you need Quick Charge and Range on your ground pound. Your missles will deal good damage to tanks and fodder just fine, only spec into vitality and ground pound.

For Techs, run the Combat Pistol and Medved

For Gunner, run Pulse Rifle and either Medved or M45. Use the shotgun in Overclock to melt big bois.

For Demo, use Pulse Rifle and either the Smartgun or Flamer. Preferably Flamer but your teammates need to say when theyā€™re firing and NEVER get in front of the Demo, just in case he needs to fire in an emergency. You will go down no matter what if you get even tickled by the Flamer.

There is strategy for Point Defense. Its only maintaining Machine C for the entire time while letting A and B go to shit. Turret the fuck out of C and maintain it until the halftime starts, then fix A and B at your leisure ( think this is necessary because otherwise the hordes come at C if there are no alternative). Then start up the machine again allowing hordes to come out A B or Cā€¦

I would buy it if it also had aliens mode.

plus I am more Ridely Scott person so I much more Alien Isolation type of alien. Single one perfect organism very tough to kill

that shits fucking tacky man. Its fucking never been polished and it was a problem to start with since AVP1 in 1999. they never did a single goddamn fuck.why? Well because shit, you were able to see from both perspectives right? then the devs were basically fucked with having to polish looking at an alien and making the alien as fluid as possible while having to polish the shit out of the game play mechanic . something that is impossible or probably too visually compromising as one needed to be fast, and from the human perspective, the alien needed to be cool as fuck while the your human had to be able to be as either mobile or immobile. The whole balance of those games were a cartoony fuck fest.

Fast forward and its 2022 in the year of our lord, and some people donā€™t get it because they never played the original. They just think its cool, but they donā€™t know its tacky as fuck. Go play AVp1 and tell me thats a fucking RDR2 in disguise.

No, play alien isolation and imagine what it would be like to play as the Alien and tell me how the narrative, gameplay mechanics, balance, and all that sort of jazz works out. It doesnā€™t equal AVP games.

This is like a 20,000 $ logistics problem that shouldnt be worked out on the forums over a beer.

I actually played AvP classic. Not ONLY did I immensely enjoyed THE FUCK out of it, I played it like two years ago, after I played AvP 2010 many years ago. Which was also excellent, but slow as hell compared to AvP classic. Also played AvP 2 but more of campaign than multi, cool too but it is like middle ground, it is slower than AvP C but itā€™s without automatic ā€œcinematicā€ moments of AvP '10.
In the end my opinion is that All three are excellent games, and with PERFECT balance ie no balance. Humans are objectively inferior and over reliant on spray and pray, as they should, or on auto machine gun.

Itā€™s not tacky, itā€™s how games actually supposed to be, especially multiplayer ones. Instead of ā€œbalanceā€ garbage that modern AAA devs accustomed people towards.

Also itā€™s not RDR2 and THAT IS A GOOD thing. RDR 2 is slow as fuck, which is fine because it is about cowboy and legit horse they ride that wanted dead or alive.
Plus majority of modern games are ultra slow.

Also Alien Isolation recreated Alien 1 feel, but Aliens isnā€™t = Alien AT ALL. Neither by concept nor by execution. And Alien Cube isnā€™t Alien or Aliens either.

And anyways, Alien in Alien 1 is fast and resilent, none of which is contradicted in AvP games.

Iā€™m absolutely loving AFE. Really hoping we get another trio of missions in a future update. Maybe one that involves actually confronting the Queen Alien.

Should of turned it into 1 v4 and let People play as alien

Should of turned into something that wasnā€™t playing the same thing over and overā€¦
If thereā€™s money not well spent on a game, thatā€™s definitely one good example.

Same thing over and over? AFE has fourteen different maps for gameplay and itā€™s fully cooperative. Tons of different weapons, six different classes, awards given for the higher level completions and challenge cards to mess with the characteristics of the marines, weapons and aliens.

How in the world is AFE the same thing over and over again for you?

Correction, there are 6 different tilesets, each with the same layout and room transitions. This is not Warframe, they do not randomize the tilesets each time you play a new mission.

Same dialogue every single time.

Same enemies every single time, maybe itā€™ll spawn an orange health or green health every few missions along with the standard wave build. Only variable that affects this is difficulty.

The only thing thatā€™s solely random in that game are hidden caches. And once you play enough to memorize spawns, it gets pretty not random.

What do you mean, ā€œsame layout and room transitionsā€? The maps are 100% different from one another.

You obviously didnā€™t pay attention to the 1st and 4th campaigns
