Aliens Fireteam Official Announcement Trailer

There are also the fact that developers might actually sell portions of their source code (parts of their engine) to other companies to make up for any loss.

That being said, A:FireTeam either looks like they are coming off from other developer’s source code development. It doesnt look like they have anything other studios might think is of use.

The source code for Cyberpunk…probably came from Witcher 3. Its buggy as hell, but still well worth playing. If you haven’t played Cyberpunk yet, you should. Unless you’re scared of a blue screen now and again. I don’t get why people soil their pants over it. I’ve experienced blue screens and its not the end of the world considering the amount of story and design that went into that behemoth.

They were bought out because its a new noname company of less than 50 people that’s only been around 5 years to do some outsourced work on ancient MMOs. Nothing to do with Disney.

You’re thinking of a GAME ENGINE not source code lol. And Cyberpunk delivered on 0 of its promises, im sure its the critics that are out of touch.

You’re thinking of a GAME ENGINE not source code lol

Whatever. Its the same company who made it.
And for Cold Iron studios… who knows what they lobbed off from their developement. They got boaght by Fox, then by Sythice. or something.

Either way i don’t intent to know anything about how they do it, i just know…nothing.

Cold Iron Studios did not invent unreal 4 lol

Ahh… you misread.

Do you think Fox owns Illfonic?

Problems with Cyberpunk were they literally blew up what they were going to give into the game and talked about how it would revolutionize gaming. But, cut out literally a massive amount of content, made it into a futuristic GTA with less map and a lot of missing content, super buggy game that if you made it to 40 hours saved data it ended up getting wiped, and a totally uneventful gameplay due to A.I. being almost braindead as PHG A.I.

Wasn’t the developers fault either. The other was the constant delays that led up to 8 years development time with little show for it. Then, throwing PSN under the bus promising that PSN would give out refunds without their permission. Then, threw a tantrum when PSN just removed it from their PSN stores as a punishment until they put out patches to make the game playable.

A lot of people paid for the development and are now suing due to CD Project didn’t keep their end of the deal and cost a lot of money for it’s shareholders that they only got due to Project lying.

Then, with the hacking incident on top of that and the original source code all being sold put them in a worse light. There is also the potential of millions of people’s accounts being exposed that bought this game which they deny, but can they be trusted after all their other lies and false promises?

End of the day the game may be fun at times, but they dropped the ball harder than any company I have ever seen in all of 15 years of gaming I’ve done. Even with Illfonic just now getting their shit together didn’t drop the ball this hard and that’s saying a lot.

Even with all the patches it’s just now starting to become playable on console, but is still a farcry from what it should of been. I personally have not touched Cyberpunk after I spent 30 hours playing just to have the game crash and it corrupt all my saved data.

Hence, that’s all I have to say on Cyberpunk. as for PHG it’s nice they are starting to fix things up, but disappointing a lot of what they are doing now should have been in day 1. What I am waiting for is new maps, pred teams in the new mode, and que times to go down with the new mode being released.

As for a final thought, the only games I am aware of that cost millions over the years would be big franchises like Halo, COD, GOW, Etc. only due to big names that take a lot to make and have large staff working on, but make a massive amount of profit to negate those differences. They also pop a new one out every few months to two years for the BIG WOW factor again to make even more money and spend less on old projects. @Finessology @MassImpact124

Futuristic GTA with a wanted system that doesn’t work, cops that spawn out of thin air. Promised parkour, rail systems, and car chases when there is no car AI. Who tries to make a GTA clone with no AI?? Cops spawn infront of you, you sprint 200 feet and congrats you’ve beaten this revolutionary Wanted system because cops cannot drive or chase you in any form and they didn’t even have the resouces to make drones pursue the player so they scrapped half the game. And all this is paid for by polish taxpayers lol.

Yeah they really gave GTA a run for its money, putting all that money into marketing and releasing as one of the worst open world games to ever exist.
They should’ve just done a Deus Ex hub world if they couldn’t do anything with the lack of advanced AI.

Basically, but you get the idea of what I was getting at

Nah, I’m pretty sure Illfonic is still independent same with Rebellion

Just remember folks, this ENTIRE game was one mode on a much, bigger, better game. That being AvP 2010.

Yeah but that game isn’t on PS4 or PS5 cuz Rebellion doesn’t own the rights to the game anymore :(
Anyways Xenomorph Fireteam reminds me of Space Hulk Deathwing and I love that game

aparently you’re all too bothered by the media hype rather than actually playing the game.
You have more knowledge about CDPR than anyone yet I’m playing the game frequently and dont quite know why you can’t enjoy it. Are you actually playing it, or is the scandal more important?

Ik thats the joke

Ok CDPR stockholder lol. Probably because there is no post-game if you have a brain, the game takes less than a day to beat, the balance/scaling is awful making playthroughs braindead, and I can go play GTA or RDR for an actual open world experience.

says alot about what you know. Im not taking you seriously on that so whateve Finessolgoy.

15 hours idgaf about scanning delamain cars over and over, probably 10 skipping cutscenes and if you just go get the mantis blades early you can breeze through the entire game without leveling much of anything.

Repeating fetch quests for 50 hours seems right up your alley though so have at it.

God I wish AvP 2010 was remastered for newer platforms. Oh well.

I personally just wish there was more to the game than a horde shooter. I feel like with one mode it’s just going to get stale real fast. I’m sure it’ll have it’s fanbase though.

Yeah, we’ll see. I’m sure they’ll release more content for the game depending on its sales.

Plus they’re going to have to come back to the game because it most likely will have bugs or glitches that will need to be fixed

And releasing Ripley as a DLC character or something would make them a lot of money too

So Predator Hunting Grounds is pretty much only PVP and Aliens Fireteam is only PVE? Why are games getting worse instead of better? Both AVP and ACM had long campaign, PVP, and PVE. I will be pushing Cold Iron Studios to make PVP mode until they do. We still have a number of months before it’s released.

Can we all agree that arcade style PVE is only a game mode, not a complete game? And, I would rather a game be only PVP than only PVE. Only certain game types like cat and mouse Alien Isolation were made not to have PVP. If Aliens Fireteam doesn’t have a PVP mode, I rather dust off my PS3 and play Aliens Colonial Marines PVP and PVE multiplayer than replay 4 maps in Aliens Fireteam totaling 5 hours with no human competition and no PVP mode.
