Amazon Pred Mains are Sweats

I rarely if ever play sweaty as FT, though being decent at the game many potatoes will call you a sweat just for being accurate.

As pred, I’m not nearly as good as FT and will often play “sweaty” because by the time I can tell the team is a potato I’ve already killed 3. Since FT is so OP is hard to tell if the damage is coming from one single player or all of them. They will rarely reinforce, either out of ignorance, being scared, or because AI will down the last player on their way to the radio, lmao

If you’re over whelmed by FT its only because they come at you all at once. Casual and scared players will never hit you even when they are right in front of the target. When you’re on a controller, the most likeliest issue is guilt or a reluctance to act. More judgement on ones own abilities in a game while you’re on a controller because its shameful to be using one. Such slow movements doesn’t create an atmosphere of trust especially when everyone is trying to collect “the purple stuff rather than watching everyones 6”.

I own a playstation and play all types of games on controller. Its the most undesirable form of control.

And you’re a try hard when you are playing FT with a team with meta builds

…I use controller on PS5 and I ignore all pickups, I’m constantly watching out for Preddy. Funny how that is, almost like not every console play is the same…

Try playing solo then come back again. Even seasoned players like sam, F13 and others know FT solo is a nightmare even against a potato pred that decides to use melee optimized loadout, which is like 80% of potatoes, sadly.

I find it harder to beat someone using the hook, axe or sickle bashing the attack button randomly than someone “plasma spamming” with accuracy and precision

This. I know we all tout that FT is OP, but that’s only when you have two or more on your team that know what they’re doing. Pred melee weapons are actually pretty fucking powerful, even wristblades. If you don’t have at least one other dude doing considerable damage while you’re getting wrecked, and your parries aren’t PC God level, you’re fucked. Can’t count how many times I’ve seen a teammate pot-shot the plasma rifle while running up to maybe get one knife slash in while my skull’s being ripped out by near-dead Pred cuz I missed a parry, and they jump away to heal and proceed to team wipe before reinforce. Its become habit and has been for years that if I’m running solo, my team is bait. It reeks of ego, but its true for maybe 90% of pub games: I’m the only one with a good loadout, I’m the only one who understands the game’s mechanics, I’m the only one with experience, I’m the only one who will win this for us. And match after match, as long as I’m not killed from bullshit (which is a lot), that’s what happens. Like I hate thinking like that, but I have to when running solo, I cannot rely on my team.

So reading thru some of these and im genuinely in awe that using a melee as predator is now considered "try hard"or any other phrase that means thier trash etc. And before it was frowned upon to use the axe and or plasma caster. So it seems like a damned if you do and damned if you dont. So im kinda lookin where my play style falls into your guys categories for both FT and predator. And so far im a “fag, sweaty, try hard” 🤣 for using dutch 87 as a main but i use amphibious so does that still make me all that cus im not using “broken builds” but i main dutch 87?

As predator i use melee and sometimes plasma caster (not that often) and plasma gun or if im practicing then maybe the disc or some other ranged weopon. Kinda hard keeping up with the dos and donts of the game. So ima jus play and if i whoop some ass its “good shit” and if i get my ass whooped its “good shit, ill see you again”.

i mean vs a premade ft its not, melee will get you melted, just vs potatos it works very well

and melee works much easier and takes less skill to smash potatos than using a ranged weapons which you need to aim

True but thas why you mix it up when goin up against a pre made you dont jus rush in. Its like boxing you cant jus rush in you gotta feel em out and do things to force the one with a big ego to chase you.

Idk im jus a casual gamer so none of this is a big deal to me. Only time i get outta character on someone is when they start talkin shit which theres some who do both predator and ft. And those ones are the names i remember so when i play em again i make sure to kill them so they cant talk shit and if they do jus hit em with “you still died tho” and they lose thier shit.

No offense but that sounds like youve gotten beat by melee and have to diminish it by sayin it takes no skill like using aim. The only weopon im here that takes some sort of “skill” (really its jus technique) is the disc. Plasma pistol and plasma caster aint hard to hit with js and not to mention everythin is made super easy if your playin on pc WITH A MOUSE. Have to add the mouse in all caps cus i know some ppl lose thier shit for sayin playin PC is way easier.
