Are they going to nerf ft?

Cause fire team is getting to comfortable chasing the predator the predator should be the one that is chasing not being chased when your low. You can bait them into chasing you. That shows you there to comfortable.

Man ikr

The Predator should always be the best! FT doesnt need nurf.

If they suck then that means they should get gud!

If you’re great at FT then it means the predator player sucks and should be tossed out of the game like the parry bug should have been an official mechanic.

Then what’s with some threads saying ft needs a nerf?

because some threads are , like, their perspective man. NEVER believe anybody’s potatoe loadouts! They’re just afraid to say “they suck” to the world. So they say nerf the enemy!

I can honestly say them both. I suck. And NERF THE ENEMYYYYYY!!!

Mass remember when you called me out on what was percieved as me being an asshole?

Well this is one of the post that makes you look like an asshole. You can still be good and see where things are unbalanced.

People dont deserve to get thrown out for calling stuff out, that mind you, a lot of people can see.

Ft damage is too high atm, and a few specializations need to be toned down.

But thats at the loadout level. However if you matchmake people with potatoes then you do see the entire picture. You can’t nerf something without seeing the entire picture…that is one where peoples skills or killrates are lower for whatever reason. this could be due to them not being very good or not use to controllers.

Even if FT is buff as hell, the match making places you with people who don’t utilize everything to the full advantage.
Therefore, if the levels are at a buff, it would be your own perspective.
Now matchmaking can be on your side or not, its definitely not all the time.

Predator should not be in a position to be get into second wind. You never want to be in it to begin with.

A lot of the Predators I run down either don’t go far enough or don’t try to out maneuver FT. Jump around and use the terrain to keep out of the line of fire. Stop running forward a few feet when you know FT can keep up normally.

That all being said I’d be all for a change where Predator moves a bit faster to evade FT if Predators are having this much a problem with it.

Which Predators class though?
I can’t tell you enough times all this depends on the perspective.

See @Fire, i’m not trying to be an asshole, but this thread started out as a blackhole of thought. It begs to be defined, but if people negate to include are the necesaary details it becomes an assholy of holy situations.

Basically everyone but scouts I tend to be able to run down. Scouts I find usually know what they’re doing so I’m not normally in a position to follow the retreat.

But yeah it’s a bit situational since some predators don’t flee fast enough or for some reason want to hang out. It doesn’t happen with all Predators but I’ve seen this enough I’d be willing to let Predator have a speed boost in second wind if it helps them evade ft easier.

Exactly RedBaronBob! You understand!
Now @Predators1234 do you get it?

I have to disagree, mainly on my part because how often I’ve played on both sides.

Theres been a few times where a predator should have won against my team, but didnt, simply because of the dps ft has.

I dont like to use myself an as example for balance because like I’ve mentioned before, in this game, I can fight through unbalance and bullshit.

But that’s me.
I’m a huge pain in the ass to play against and I utilize everything I have.

But I look at my matches with some ft and I’m like, man, if that wasnt me I would of just gotten destroyed by that fireteam.

I’ve been playing games for years.
So I can adapt.
I dont feel the nerves and anxiety others do while playing pred.

I feel like in order to pull off pred well enough to not just get destroyed, you need to play perfectly.
However on ft, it takes none or minimal effort to do well.

I know I’m not the only one.
Theres a few other preds who can adapt and win in this situations.

But the level of effort should be the same on both sides.

When it comes to balance, I look at the characters, not the players, because there will always be exceptions and variables.

Theres too many disagreements.
But I think ft mains are a huge part of the problem.

Really only because of one thing-
A huge majority of ft mains want to be able to sw
A pred solo.

And given how fast it can happen, it becomes a huge problem when you multiple the damage by other players.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to try to explain where I’m coming from.

All I’m after is the game feeling fair to both sides.

After our last discussion I kinda figured you werent trying to be an asshole.

As for wanting more information, I kind of get that, but to look at over all balance, like core balance I dont think we need to start out with every detail.

That’s how I feel about it anyway.

PC/PS matchmaking is a major thing i look at too. You need to understand that…but you’re coming from the PS side of things which is another point of perspective that needs to take account for.

So thats what I understand now, lots of people of different levels and experience aren’t comfortable with this game and they demand more of themselves so they ask the impossible which are the nerfing recommendations.

I’m not complaining I’m just curious if there going do something about there damage. My point is that ft are too comfortable chasing you with out issue. I had ft chase me through the whole map as I was trying to heal

So basically any player new to the game shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy playing as Predator? Shouldn’t be able to have fun playing as the Predator, which is probably the reason they bought the game? That’s what you sound like right now.

Oohh…

Shouldn’t be able to have fun playing as the Predator, which is probably the reason they bought the game?

OOhh…

I get it. Um…i don’t know how to answer those questions because its all due to what you want and what the message you get from seeing the box art.Or how you interpret illfonic markets this product to you.
I dont know. I like, ive played sci-fi horror before so coming off from A:CM and understand the other games…I don’t know. Its just fun is all from both sides Predator and FT. because as you know this genre has two sides.

and by new to the game @VENN7eance everyone starts off at a certain lvl. so i don’t know what you’re getting at.

2 Nerfs that absolutely NEED to happen;

Support Class instantly reviving a teammate. 1 second + a mini-heal? Ridiculous.

Support Class giving a 20% damage reduction to teammates within 20m. You now have Dutch 87s able to accumulate 40% damage reductions.

Spotting is a problem again too.

And we haven’t even began to talk about DPS and damage outputs.
