Eren has limited options and an ability to change something. Staying put would only lead to slow death. Bringing it to Marley had him find an unlikely ally in Zeke so he goes with the plan against a common enemy. That means betraying the Eldians in Paradis. Theres no other option, right? He doesn’t want the Scouts to choose, so he makes the choice for them. It is better to have the Paradis Eldians together just in case he fails against Marley, as a third faction to continue the fight.

Actually he wanted them to work with the Marleyians (the warriors) so as to show that United they took down Eren so it gives eldians a good reputation

Right. I wonder if Erwin would take such a gamble. Also, isn’t it weird that Armin doesn’t see this? Some tactician he is (he is a bit suspicious/hopeful about Erin’s plan; maybe he knows, but doesn’t want to reveal it; it has to happen naturally)
