Liked the designs of the pred and xenos, hated how dark it was and pretty much all the people and their storylines especially the teens. Plus side I liked how the wolf and xenos pretty much annihilated everyone they came in to contact with.

Badly lit, my only real complaint is that the directors were inexperienced and they didn’t light anything for s*** so you can’t even fix it on the back end
What about the story & the fight scenes what are your thoughts about those?

Worst depiction of xenos onscreen ever. They could be stand ins for power ranger villain extras it makes no difference.
Predalien skinning people was stupid. Predalien honor duel was stupid. The literal pizza boy running around a hospital shooting aliens. Just terrible, put AvP in space where it belongs.
Even compared to like alien 4 they legitimately do nothing the whole movie other than sit around in gun stores hissing waiting to get nuked because there is only one pred in this movie which was a terrible idea as it innately sets him up to be a mary sue until the last fight.
Also its a fucking brothers strauss film and they shouldnt be allowed to direct anything ever other than their direct to dvd skyline sequels.

I felt that the story was serviceable. Killing a kid right off the bat was an apology for how PG the first movie was. As a fan of the Alien versus Predator prey, war, and Hunter’s planet I felt it was vague enough in lore referencing that it didn’t take one side or the other but added interesting points without bastardizing the concept as a whole (example, forever midnight the predators all of a sudden had a rage gland and could change genders depending on where they are in their life, The predator film made it so that they were collecting spines to harvest genetic material to improve themselves)

Xenomorphs were killing pretty much the whole town of people and even killed the soldiers that were sent to the town.
I think it was a good idea just to send one Predator because it shows us how good an experienced/veteran Hunter can do on his own. Feel like previous movies always showed us youngbloods in the movies.

Made 0 sense. didnt even blow himself up humans did it for him after he dropped all his weapons in the process and left his ship there. humans won and avpr killed the franchise.
Hated the darkness
The wolf is part of the Elite Clan. And each clan does have different ways of fighting and slightly different traditions.
Now if we look back who else is in the elite clan serpent is in the elite clan, he is very known for being the best xenomorph Hunter because serpent has killed Xenomorphs without using any weapons or mask and possibly by fighting the abomination/Pred alien it could have been Wolf’s way of trying to outrank serpent or something to do with their traditional way of fighting Xenomorphs.
we don’t even see him do anything less stupid than the previous movies.
the only difference is that his enemies are 100x more stupid that he is. In fact he just runs around shooting up shops and power plants & busting through walls like the koolaid man the entire movie.
not predator-esque just literal plot armor walks into a group of aliens and shoves them to the ground like toddlers while they flail around x50. im sure it took him 5000 years to master the art of shoving while the aliens just sit there flailing around on the ground.
Are they all brain damaged from the ship crash?
AvPR is probably why people think people think pred should win melee only.
Not a fan of teen/kid horrors, I did enjoy the movie nevertheless.

yeah and bla bla bla etc mr.black is a well renowned child prodigy now extremely experienced hunting down his fellow preds & still died to the pianist with an axe and some fire this is meaningless.

I don’t think it’s meaningless I think it’s very important because by knowing which clan they’re in or having an idea of which clan they’re in we can get a better understanding why certain Predators fight and do things in specific ways.
