AvP Requiem

I’m convinced the environment at Fox is much the same one as the spider-office at Marvel. Just a bunch of glue eaters.

Everyone’s basically pointed out all the problems. My two cents ain’t worth much.

Pros:
Yautja lore; I loved seeing the homeworld, and I loved the concept of actually seeing a non hunter predator in canon.
Predalien concept; I always loved the concept, all the way back when I was messing around in AVPC. They always fascinated me. I’d love an avp game that’s truly about it. AVP2’s expansion was too half assed and AVP3 was barely touched upon.

Cons:
Human Plot/Characters; These came straight out of a late Friday the 13th movie. It was so hard to watch, just waiting for them to die so they can stop “acting”.
Predalien; See, there’s so much stuff that I hate about it. If one xeno can turn a human into 5 xenos, why is there a queen? Why is there any other kind? Just skip the whole lifecycle. It makes no sense in the Alien context.
Location; While its nice to see a new setting, and the rural suburb makes a great dynamic that the aliens and predators are at a disadvantage. But they use none of that. Wolf barely interacts with anything, and the aliens don’t seem to mind being in the open.

On the note of the Predalien they actually ran with (briefly) the creature simply not being in the movie. It’s in the opening but the brain trust at Fox thought not to use it as the film’s villain and the fx people had to be the ones to tell them that was dumb and simply the obvious choice.

I think that is why it’s in the movie the way it is. The script just wasn’t meant to include it.

Was not what we wanted. We don’t care about humans. We wanna see shit like Machiko or Wolf breaking and taking bones of xenos.

You think they give a shit about what people want?

If they want money, they’ll care.

That’s not how it works. The woke people will go watch it hehe, i’ll watch it anyway cause of predator

I like the less light…gives it realism and depth… better than over saturated bright colrs… if you want that join the bronies. Requiem is the closest thing weve gotten to predator since original jungle hunter

My TV is just too dogshit to enjoy it the right way sir! I have the contrast and everything set to Max and I miss out on so much every time I watch it. Don’t misunderstand, we need more like that, minus the darkness and absurdly bad human acting… Actually maybe more of the bad acting…

I woe have gladly told you all of my thoughts about the movie… if the movie wasn’t so dark. Couldn’t see a darn thing.

I’d recommend you watching it on the Blu-ray version?

Wasn’t so dark when I watch the Blu-ray version. Some details I didn’t even notice before that I noticed on bluray. Such as when Wolf put the other Predators mask on and by the lens, it started to pour out green blood as if the mask was crying

I disagree. At least some had some Predatoring in 2010’s Predators. But a movie surrounding just Wolf would be appreciated. No one cares about this dudes crush or his shitty truck.

Lmao don’t hate on the man’s truck! At least it was a truck he road in x’D

Y’know what, that’s a good point. The truck didn’t do nothin’ wrong. If anything, it’s one of the only actors in this film that did everything right. Time to hug the truck

Wait is actually pouring or is it just there already.

Because I have the unrated version, and I can see just fine, and I also noticed that but it’s just sitting there.

The lens were green but once Wolf picked up the mask and put it on during that time the blood began to stream slowly down.
I thought that was cool.

You could watch the night scenes in that movie with your fucking eyes shut , and still see the same amount of what’s going on

Nah, you’d see more with your eyes closed.
