It was screwed as soon as studio execs decided it should be set in modern day with pizza boy and yutani fighting aliens. didnt even try to make sense.
It was a cash grab versus franchise because versus movies were very popular at the time. not an actual comic adaptation.
Its about as much of a faithful adaptation as WS andersons monster hunter film. made to appeal to normies.
Besides that it was shot in the dark

Acidglow is cool, but mostly he retells Xenopedia articles in video format when it comes to lore vids imo.
Plus his Hunting Grounds rant video was a misinformed if not well researched imo.

Man was getting mad at Parry while Marines can punch a Pred down in 2010 and was playing Viking the whole video lmao. Almost no Ranged Gameplay at all.

It was just baffling decisions. While I can’t find a source for it in addition to what I listed the film was also bleeding money from the town to film. Requiem was just every single thing going wrong for the movie.
I mean your not wrong the three Preds on AvP are just plain dumb!
