Here’s some downhill fun with my handcycle. Sorry for the bad quality, lost the original file, had to redownload from youtube the crappy version and reupload etc…

This is how my handcycle type looks in action…

If possible, you need to put some speeder bike accents on that puppy. Particularly these! And a camo poncho.

Wish anti gravity was a thing now :D

If the world had backed Nikola Tesla instead of Thomas Edison, we may have. I’ve seen some speeder bike rigs with mirrors over the wheels underneath to simulate the hovering. They are neat. Is your electric assist?

The closest thing we have right now in reality is magnetic levitation, but it’s a limited system since it needs “tracks” for the levitation to work (check magnetic levitation trains).

Yep, electric assist (really need it for climbing hills due to poor traction because of front wheel drive and all the weight being in the back + the bike itself weighing around 26kg or 57 pounds, arm muscles will never beat leg muscles), like an able bodied e-bike :) Except mine only has one wheel and clips onto my chair :)

Thought so. I just bought an e-bike myself. I’m an old fart and everything hurts now, so this new bike is like a new lease on the road.

E-bikes are the future :)

Yeah, it’s good to be practical.

That drift was awesome 😎

I’ve seen similar stuff before. Never ceases to amaze me. Such level of control. Looks easy here

Looks easy, but it’s super hard (to the ones who know what’s happening, because you don’t have control over half of your body, your balance and strength is completely different to an able bodied person) :)

Very uplifting to see that people can continue to do what they love and still have a positive outlook at life.

These handcycles for the disabled (there’s also as you saw more motorcycle type style with throttle only like Bowhead) are a godsend both for fun and practicality (depending which you choose) :) So much fun… Only downside is they’re expensive as hell. For example that throttle type bike Bowhead starts from 15000$… The ones you see in this video are around 4-8k$ (can go even higher, over 10k$) depending on variant and options…
