I think a better idea is to give some damage resistance while cloaked. If you’re out in the open wailing away at fireteam members like a dipshit, you deserve the rain of fire that’s getting brought down on you, unless you’re catching one off guard.

While we are at it, give the fire team a laser guided nuclear warhead that 1 shots all preds

I’ll repost because despite being a Pred main I am advocating for both sides to get buffed. if only cause that means I can spend more time fucking with the FT in match. Don’t spend 9 minutes queues for 2 minute matches after all. More fun if ya get fuck around with the FT, also why I think Preds should get a Gear version of the EMP Jammer which blocks Zeus’ radio so FT can’t do objectives for like 30 seconds.

Assault be buffed from 150HP to 200HP.
Dante be buffed from 160HP to 220HP.
Dutch 2025 from 160HP to 220HP whilst Dutch 87 goes from 155HP to 200HP. Also swap their Natural Perks around so that 2025 has Mud Damage Resist & Mud Cover Duration whilst Dutch 87 has Hipfire Accuracy & Hipfire Damage.
Recon go from 125HP to 175HP.
Human Scout from 125HP to 175HP also.
Supports go from 175HP to 250HP.
Buff OWLF Agent from 135HP to 180HP.

For Predators.

Hunter gets buffed from 1250HP to 2000HP.
Predator Scout goes from 1000HP to 1500HP.
Berserker goes from 1500HP to 2500HP.
Alpha from 1150HP to 1650HP.
Elder 1250HP to 1800HP.
City Hunter from 1250HP to 2000HP.
Samurai from 1350HP to 2200HP.
Viking from 1500HP to 2750HP.
Valkyrie from 1200HP to 1800HP.

Make Fireteam Medkits, both the Gear Item & Map Spawns, heal for 100% every time.
Make Fireteam Stims heal for 50%.
Keep Predator Medkits at 100% heal.
Lower Pig Heals to 50%.

that’s 160 hp dog sounds like a 1 hit down mechanic to me since everyone below that is getting one tapped down like for example scout+TS+OWLF would still get one tapped by that without a support dmg reduction

and remember you can recall disc for an instant 1frame 55+ damage so that’s 160+55= 215?

but there isn’t any one shot down mechanics

Caster with down range and stalker is 150 damage flat while Caster with down range assassin is 156 which will one shot a scout or recon who don’t have both OWLF and Thick skin? is that fair?

Or just make downed players take 50% less damage, so they aren’t so easy to kill.

They must have changed that, because we recently tested the disk, and it did 125 on both the first hit and return.

yeah that would have to be recent cause last i tested was waaay back in 2.04 maybe? and recall did 55 damage compared to the actual hit being the 120 or whatever is was back then

This might be a good idea for pred co-op so FTs get a chance to play

On the FT side, I think the damage needs to be lowered significantly and the missions need to be spread across the map.
On the Predator side, I feel there needs to be a mechanism to lower the damage of the Range Weapon and allow it to interfere with the mission.

I’m all for extending the fireteam mission length. Have to extend the match length at that point too. Which is a good thing. However, it won’t make a difference if you don’t force the Predator to stop rushing straight to the fireteam.

They need an objective at the start of a match to help build the tension of the first encounter. Dropping down from the rope and then walking a quarter of a mile only to get pounced… it’s kinda stupid. I’m guilty of it, but only having done it a few times personally.

More than anything, I think they just need to add the 2v6 mode. Such a game type has loads of potential for fun. Still going to have some issues, but you can’t deny how cool it would be.

Look, the main problem with the game right now is that when FT’s Bravo player (blue) spots things, it’s not bright enough and they should use a lighter shade of blue instead.
