Balance in P:HG 2.20

@YUPPERS @moralez
Guys, do you see what you are trying to do? You want balancing to change this game in such a way that you will have a big, bad and scary hunter stalking frightened soldiers, just like in the movie – this is exactly what I’ve said in the start of this thread – it’s impossible for this game. Just look on private match customization option. How long did we have access to those now? And despite they allow us to change every aspect of the game, no one has come forward and said – we’ve nailed it! That’s the recipe for the perfect balance!

No matter what you will change in balance, you will only shift things from one side to the other – you will not change the fps shooter experience. This game was build as such and will always remain as such, and that in essence means it will not provide hunting experience.

Guys, you know where the hunt experience really starts? Where the pray hasn’t got a clue its being hunted

And bullshit useless taxes exist irl, doesn’t mean we should be okay with it or allow it.

Not the point Arnie -point is this game dose not have the potential to change in to what ppl want it to be

My point was to your point , do you get the point?

Fuck aye!
… wait… no

FT can hunt when pred is wounded and at that they have to be well coordinated or they’ll run into traps and will be away from supplies and reinforcements. There’s a fine line for both.

Not a straightforward answer, but some people think that killing the fireteam with 3 killer UAVs while invisibly hiding away from direct danger is balance.

Hell if I know anything about balance then. At the end of the day, I’m just going to play the game that the Devs give us, and personally avoid whatever I think is exploitative or unfair. The game should be about having fun after all.

Accept it for what it is - a fast pace arcade shooter, and it will provide tons of fun ;-)

Its Arnie’s way of saying “I love you bro!” XDDDDDD

Absolutely. The Fireteam can occasionally “hunt,” most obviously in second wind, but there are a lot of players you can catch trying to chase, or the Fireteam chases too long and can’t complete the mission. One thing I would have liked to see is, if the timer runs out and the predator has at least one kill, every Fireteam player gets the long claim animation and the match ends with them as “dead” on the scoreboard.

i mean that opinion… taxes would be good if it was community based not entity based

True. Not a simulation, but more of an “experience.”

i mean the AI are so dumb this kills the experience as well. The missons are terrible as well. Rember left for dead… that game had it down to a science… its outdated and its not a popular genre at the moment but it was fun as hell

Nah, elder is the best. Not exactly him, but his specialization, stalker.

Sounds about right. They have almost always been the best balance of both mobility and health.

Stalker is strong, right?

I mean, it can one shot an assault class, so yeah, it’s strong.

Elder Stalker is way too good for what kind of playstyle it’s designed towards.
It’s one of the most unfun thing to play against especially if he uses disk.

But regarding what OP originally said, the game currently is in a very good state of balance, it just has some small issues like Stalker being way too strong and unfun, carrying 3 disks being a little too overkill for how good the weapon is now.
Once we get rid of that and dumb oneshot mechanics we will be Gucci IMO.
