Scout is awesome bud, no one expects him and if you stay a decent distance away, you can land those charged shots and get easy knockdowns. if they start hunting you, use a net gun to turn the tables. I’ve been racking up wins as the scout, and once you get used to his tactics, it’s MUCH easier to get take downs than bezerker. Don’t use down range, it is useless unless you are running the bow or smart disc, which I do not recommend. The charged plasma shot, without down range, will still knockdown FT members when landed. Shakes up the game big time, and has the rest of the FT making mistakes (splitting up, getting too tight in formation, etc) also a BIG one, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT use the isolation scan at the very beginning, find a spot relatively close to the center of the map and turn on thermal and wait. Using this too soon will be a bummer, especially when you go in that general direction and they aren’t there anymore. Let them go to the objective and start making noise. Then you close in and wait for a good shot (preferably while they’re interacting with something). After 1 or 2 shots fall back and reposition yourself, and keep them guessing. If you are far away, DO NOT USE CLOAK, they can hear you and you can get off 2-3 charged plasma shots (depending on perks) another note I’d like to mention is that the scout has MUCH better energy efficiency. Which makes those plasma shots VERY deadly. But above all else give it a try and learn from your own mistakes as well as when to take advantage of the FT mistakes. No one is perfect, everyone makes a mistake. Your job is to punish them HARD when they do. Also avoid using melee at all times while using scout. (Should go without saying, but it is very vital to the play style.)
