Berserker with a combistick… seems like he can take down 4 players without fail on a bum rush. Took 4 grenade launcher rounds plus rounds from the other fire team members. Kept hacking away at us. 4 games straight all different players as berserker class predators same bum rush tactic.
Either he’s op or the grenade launcher is not dealing adequate damage. Any other players find the same thing?

He’s absolutely stronger than the other Preds that’s for damn sure, but Iv used him and kno that he’s not invincible. But you ABSOLUTELY have to focus fire his ass. 2v1’s won’t cut it in the least. But yea it seems that’s all you see ppl using now is the Zerker. Besides me, Iv yet to see any other Predator today.

I’m not salty. I just think the predator should be more than bum rush and done. It’s a bit too rinse and repeat. I’d like to see the grenade launcher be able to repel that tactic, or at least stop from ripping out trophies. Not sure of the long term play if that is allowed to continue
Probably wouldn’t be so bum rush repeat if reinforcements weren’t so easy to get. I play as berserker and actually stealth no problem so bum rush is just peoples way of cleaning house. And its not “easy” by any means I’ve got bullet resistance on and still get melted if I ever bum rush. I recently had a match where the team just sat in a corner of a small building with one opening and when I went to go in as berserker btw with bullet resistance I got riddled and put in second wind. It’s just a matter of accuracy and team work. Also Predator in general as a character shouldn’t just get destroyed btw takes away the fear. Fire team shouldn’t be able to head hunt predators and they most certainly can I’ve done it as the fire team multiple times regrettably. The most fun I have as the fire Team is being scared of a good predator. Hearing the clicks and just barely seeing him or her before i die. That’s Predator! Fire team players can stealth their way in and out of objectives but they just wanna rush through the game. The hardest thing for a predator against a good fire team is getting an execution without being melted and sprayed with bullets. So having some extra health to take down 1 ok 1 fire team member doesn’t sound so bad considering reinforcements are so damn easy. There are balancing issues but berserker is an answer to all the fire team members who play only support and run around with Lmgs, mimiguns, or grenade launchers.

I don’t disagree with any of that statement. I’m just concerned that the other classes get left behind. Make more useful/costly skills for lack of health and equipment for scouts? Give more skill slots perhaps? Give high rewards for taunting/trapping fire teams?
I also think the fireteams should have skill set equipment and limited to one of each class as a mitigating measure for stopping an all heavy predator “hunting” party. Example being sniper/sub machine guns for primary on scout or recon instead of all classes getting grenade launchers/mini guns.
Thoughts?

100% agree. Problem I’m mostly having is like I said people can just armor up with support and have all the power weapons in the game and essentially go hunting for the predator. Fire team objective is to survive and get out! Not hunt predator down. Classes need to be limited to certain equipment like u said. Although that still doesn’t stop people from just playing only support. There needs to be only one of each or two of each not 4 of each. Also yeah the scout is grossly underpowered.
I was able to wipe a Fireteam with the Hunter today… pretty sure i got 7 kills…
I’ll be putting that run up on Youtube for sure…

People who think the Predator and Combistick are an OP combo are the same shitters who will run a full recon squad and melee the Pred to death.
It is not viable at all to bumrush a team with the combi if said team is of at least average skill. In fact, if one lone player happens to be capable of just facing the Pred while spamming melee he will simply shred through the combi’s combo.
The Pred needs a buff as it is.

The logic behind the fire team simply being able to essentially “parry” the predator with a combat knife is astoundingly stupid. This is a creature who can pull out your spine and head attached with only its hands but your gonna tell me a human can just deflect that strength? Hell no

Yea I ran some Scout and Hunter all day today. Recorded A couple of the matches. I wanted to run some Zerker but I’m like hell it seems that’s all anyone was running so let me change it up for these FT players. I did far better with the Scout than I thought I would. I kinda dig it’s speed.

Yea but without it you are absolutely royally f***ed if he decides to charge and melee you. Hell youre still boned if your teammates aren’t around. All it does is buy you some time before he kills you. When I come across that last survivor whose an ace with the parry, I just back up a step and then net gun his ass. Doesn’t parry shit after that haha.
Nice… I haven’t tried Scout yet. Hunter is already too fragile for my taste, i cant imagine playing something lighter… lol

Lol good counter but still I shouldn’t have to have the net gun to succeed in killing a fireteam member. If they don’t play smart and calculated they should suffer the consequences.
Well I promise you, a 1v1, regardless of how good your opponent can parry, they aren’t winning that battle. You don’t have to have the net gun, just change up your swing cadence a bit. Confuses them every time. Jump behind them if u have to. Just don’t spam the attack. It’s too predictable.

Haha I thought the same thing. Ran a build built around ranged attacks and had success. I’d soften em up with some plasma blasts then go in for the sweep up then be out of there before their teammates knew what the hell happened. I’d give it a shot, ya might dig it.

Yes. The berserker is absolutely OP. 20% more health and extra melee damage. Hopefully gets nerfed soon because it’s every game now. Same old thing.

If there was a reason to run the other two pred classes you wouldn’t see so many berserker predators lol
