Best FT loadout to SOLO a PRED

Dutch(1987)

  • Hammerhead
  • PDW-Z or 2XL(if you’re good at kiting)
  • Field Syriette
  • Frag Grenade
  • Gearhead
  • Double Time
  • Quick Release or Fast Hands(if you’re good at kiting)

Mud damage resist, bonus hipfire damage, 3x Field Syriettes, 4x Frag Grenades, same speed as a scout and recon if you want to get away easier or hunt the Predator down, reloads quickly / switch weapons and gear quickly.
If it’s 1vs1 then i value movement speed over anything else because then you can kite, jump and turn around in the air and shoot with the 2XL.
Gearhead is better than +25hp because a Field Syriette heals 100hp and you get extra equipment at the same time.

I sacrificed it for movement speed + faster reload / weapon switching, i think it’s more important to have in 1vs1 than bane. Making it much harder for the Predator to hit me and allowing me to reload / switch weapons faster has a great value aswell, i guess it depends on how your gameplay style is.

I do have 2 Dutch(1987) loadouts, both are identical but one has Gearhead + Bane, and the other one is the one i’ve described above. And it feels better for me when i play the one that has increased movement speed.

Personally, I like where the balance is right now. Maybe a slight nerf to Dutch 87 as we have discussed.

  • less damage resistance from mud
  • one less perk point

Predator has no where near the amount of truly beneficial perks that FireTeam has, and is restricted to only 3 choices. It’s the same with everything, there’s a lack of variety in weapons and especially gear. Predator Audio Decoys don’t stay active long enough in my opinion, and that time should be doubled.

Already solo’ed a few PC Preds by now, but not against Preds on my own skill level. most of them were noobs.
I mostly use Dutch 87 as a Tank with OWLF Training and Thick Skin, 3rd Perk is interchangeable, but I end up using either Action Hero or the knife Perk.
I also use the SAW as my primary rifle now, because of the ridiculous damage you do when you hit no-scope in-between knife attacks.

You can also flip around one of the Pred’s most loved tactics: Swarming the enemy with AI.
That’s basically what I did in this match at one occasion. Just ran around to crowd up the AI before I ran past the Pred, leading the AI towards him.
