Boggles the mind to think who designed the new game mode

I know they’ve already banned someone already for being “mean” to them but this ne mode is designed by people who failed at moping floors. Its not even about this being a game that we DID NOT WANT but about how bad its implemented!

-No ability to mute in lobby. I have to listen to some of the most stupid sounds or mute my entire system!!! People yelling in mics and other shit.
-You don’t have key binds to play as the predator. Again, KEY BINDS are MISSING by default!!!
-Matchmaking does not even try to split PC players across the teams leading to some very frustrating results. I’ve had games where I was in a team with 3 other PC plyers against a team of 1 PC + 3 PS players, guess the result. Yes, we farmed them!
-Having to go trough some 7-8 lobbies before finding a game where ALL players are able to load in! It was bad before with 5 people, now with 8?
-Predator is being chosen at random. This is mind numbing beyond belief! The option to play the predator needs to start from top performing and going down if people refuse. If you’re part of a bad team then you add this, you just sealed the game. The few who could carry the game just got another thing stacked against them.
-If someone leaves from the team this game has no backfilling or any type of rebalancing system, the 3 people end up getting screwed massively! Other games did team deathmatch but this was a standard feature ffs!

What are you doing Illfonic? Like seriously? Giving us a game mode we did not want or asked for but you did not even put any real effort into it just as well. You just throw 8 random people at it and call it a day…

Remember the first HUNT mode we played in BETA???

Unless u were not there for beta… anyways the HUNT mode was similar to CLASH in beta of predator game

All unpolished and no content lol…

Give it like a month or two.

What does that have to do with anything? This is a live game, they just gave us a game mode that they promised since launch and its in a miserable state. We’ve been patient with them since launch.

And Xan, balancing will happen and it doesn’t matter that this game is out. It is a service game and the genre it is in, this is how they work.

Balancing isn’t easy, you can’t just drop assets together and have it work. Go look up ‘hide or die’ and see how many times those devs messed up. I think they tried 3 different versions of the main mode and 2 versions of the secondary mode. None of them were half as good as Hunt mode, and Clash just needs polish and a few other features.

So basically an EGG is currently the new game mode, sometimes u need to let the new shit settle in and adapt to the consumer if that makes sense… hamlet said the devs plan to work on it and also work on HUNT too.

Tbh you dont have to play this game mode really, its not for everyone or they said its for everyone to enjoy… some players dont like this… including myself… so i shall stick to hunt…

This Gamemode once again was made to please FT players.
If you want to play Predator in this game you better be ready to wait 10 min to get that or play as the boring FT soldiers and pray that luck chooses you once in a match.

And I waited for so long to get this shit!

How could it be pleasing to FT members? It brings nothing new to the table and steers away from the core concepts that the game was built on. If your statement holds true, and the majority of FT players prefer this mode over Hunt, it’s over. This game will be dead for a huge chunk of the player base. It makes no sense why they did this. Shows they are desperate and grasping at straws at this point.

Dude just sat in front of the objective camping and got like 100 kills. How long are they going to spend fixing this game mode? I know it’s free but Jesus Christ I thought there would be more to it than this.

They have to “at least” fix the horrible fps drops in this game.
The new mode sucks so much, but even more the fps drops.
The DEV’s are lost!

The issues that frustrate me are elementary design screw ups. Why is there no mute in lobby when that exists in hunt? Why is the matchmaking in the sorry state it is since launch? Why have they released this game mode and allowed people to not have a button to accept to play as the predator and having no clue what’s going on? How exactly have they jumped over this in testing? This mistakes make it look like they could not care less about the fans.
This is not even about how the new game mode is but how its implemented. The matchmaking its screwed since launch.

From 8 we ended with 5. No idea if they even fixed the issues with PS crashing. Perhaps those people just left, perhaps they crashed. Don’t know. The que system has NOTHING to even try to balance the teams out… This are not simple uppsies, this are quite huge issues that should not have ended up in the finished product. I am not talking about tweaking damage numbers and the likes.
