Even so. If it does any more damage than the PC I think everyone would just go stalker + sniper and cheese their way to victory. If it does any less damage than the PC then nobody would use it.
no charging required and more emphasis on headshots, or long cooldown period after firing
but yeah this is why pred is just getting reskin weapons, they’re terrified of introducing new meta for the pred but FT gets hammerhead, anti-cloak gear etc

I really don’t know how it could be balanced properly, to be honest. Even if it was headshot-focused I think it would just lead to more players rage quitting during matches as it would need to be a one-shot down to be a viable weapon.
Bit unrelated, but on the meta part; I actually think that one way to help balance the game would be to either get rid of extended mags or have them moved to a perk slot.
