You’d be amazed how much Scout Disciplined can utterly fuck people over. Sound is the best designed part of this game, major reason to turn the music off even because it’s so important.

I don’t play FT much as I’ve said so I ain’t as good with it as Pred but I can go from actively solo’ing in Quick Play with Sound on, dealing 2-4K damage per round and carrying the randoms I get to becoming literal live bait and nothing more than the guy who deals like 300-800 damage and goes down first or second without sound due to having to plug my headset into my laptop for the Discord call with my friends who drag me on to be FT with 'em. All because the Sound goes away. This is why Disciplined is such a god tier Spec and has massively benefited Scout even amongst casual players. Just complete silence in Cloak.

i would say trapping a premade and killing them all in 1min. can be done… rare but can be done.

its gotten harder due to free revives, quick revives. People taking gear head and healing 3 times in a row.

Don’t even take the 1911. The Glock is way better. Sure the 1911 kills in roughly 24 bullets whilst the Glock takes 27, but the 1911 can only hold 14 per magazine whilst the Glock can hold up to 30. And on top of that the Glock can equip the Silencer without taking a damage penalty, for some reason, which will increase its accuracy & even reduce its noise for rare stealthy moments. Just the way better gun over the M1911. Plus you can put Flames on it.

Bro what lol? Even Russians tried discipline on jh87 and were losing all their matches against us.

All you gotta do with someone using discipline is ignore them and push for the mission, be done in 3 mins and exfil…good luck using that against a good team.

The glock is shit compared to the 1911 in this game. That’s why none of the best ft players use it.

Try and ignore someone who always keeps the pressure up. Disc is so great because it reinforces what the Scout’s strongest aspects are already. Hit & Run & unrelenting pressure. It allows you to more easily set up ambush shots and reposition as well as make generally safer approaches before rushing in & out for hit & run attacks.

Never give the FT room to breathe. Always be bearing down on them. Take a few shots from vantage points, rush in and net one or two, maybe throw the stick at them, get out and lay down more suppressive fire, jump back in and assault them from varying angles. Worst thing you can do with Scout is hang back and try and play them at range, it’s like melee rushing with a Zerk. If ya take damage, ya take damage. Being put into 2nd wind isn’t inherently a bad thing, you can use it to reset your health to a higher level without using a pig or medkit after all. I don’t fear taking damage, I’ve taken upwards of 9.7K from one dude in a single match once, still came out on top. As long as the FT is dead by the end, don’t matter how much they pumped into you or how bloody you are: they didn’t secure the body.

You’re only that reliant on sound because you don’t play enough FT.

The leaves still fall, you still stomp around, bushes still move, every single weapon still leaves a trail you still get perma spotted. Preds only use so many angles and after awhile you can just casually pre-fire angles with the game muted and guess where he is even if hes fully cloaked and people will accuse you of hacking.

I mean I also don’t ADS and run Hipfire builds because I dislike ADS in FPS due to being a boomer who grew up on DooM & Classic Halo. So I’m never gonna be doing god-tier ADS snipes from halfway across the map because I have zero interest in playing like that. I’m gonna be a happy-go-lucky boomer hipfiring everything and that’s how it be. Same with Pred, hanging back is for pussies lemme get in there and just be a Rushdown maniac with huge speed & pressure. Same logic as a fighting game really, ya ain’t catching me as a heavy grappler or something I’m playing a goddamn Rushdown or a Shoto.

Fine by me, you kick you kick my ass. How it be. But I’ll still play anyways because it’s fun and maybe one day I’ll smash my head against the wall enough it finally breaks down.

That’s fine you’re having fun still. I literally got tired of this game. There is no challenge for me at least, and playing solo in pubs is a fucking headache with all the potatoes. I’ll still play here and there only when my friends are online and we party up in discord but other than that…this game to me got boring.

Anything can be fun so long as you’re creative enough. Lemme tell I know for a fact I could be way better at this game if I tried. But I don’t. I don’t Plasma Spam. I don’t Bow Hop. I ain’t touching Elder Stalker who can one-shot with the Disc & Caster. Because I have an Honor Code. I’m here to be a Pred, not some competitive loon who needs to win everything and can only use the best strats and the sweatiest plays. And if my Netgun & Combi Speedy Scout shenanigans win me matches? That’s fine. If they get me rare wins against good FTs? Even better, proves hard work & dedication pays off. If I wanted to I could probably start taking all of the hyper competitive folks on day in & day out and just become a super dedicated & sweaty player. But that’d require me to stop playing by an Honor Code. Make me pick up unsavoury tactics & start using stuff like Bow Hopping… not my thing. I’ll win the good old fashioned way and with my own tactics and playstyle, and if I lose along the way: well just how it be. But it’s never the game’s fault and I don’t feel like I’m at a disadvantage.

telling you the elder plays wont do anything… there are so many ways to not get hit by it. actually elder is the worst class to play a premade.

this is what happened… they took away the ability for most preds to run adrenal boost downrange and less bullet dmg… now your even less tanky than before… its just a shit show at this point.

People were having so much fun with 1.05… a zerker w/ combistick could down a full ft… those days are far over

Creative for me means thinking of ways to adapt and win against the best preds. I don’t find it fun winning against potatoes or semi good players.

I can be as sweaty and try hard as they come that’s why I already made a name for myself. If I’m not feeling it at the moment I’ll just be the one to do the mission and let my friends have their fun with the pred.
