The actual problem with it is that chams are client-sided and there would be no way to actually implement this in a game that’s 99.9% server-sided unless you’re hosting. The client doesn’t generate any of its own information so editing anything in your RAM or modifying game files is pointless.
League of Legends had chams in the form of maphacks for its first season and they fixed this literally by just making the server generate the fog of war.
In the same way, the server generates an approximate location for the Preds and FT. Nothing involving modifying client files is going to work here, you’d need something booted onto the hardware at kernel level bc no anti-cheat can deal with altered device IDs currently other than invidual investigations. Ironically PS4 has higher chances of hardware based cheats because most of their shooters have aim assist built in and there’s hardware available that shall not be named that will modify your level of aim assist as it detects how sticky the reticule in the game is by default. In theory, you could plug the same device into a PC but consoles would be at fault for this one.
Granted console-onlys seem to think PC is some kind of master modification platform and we can just drag and drop things into the game to mod a game not built for modding and make a bunch of community maps so im not suprised they don’t realize how games have advanced beyond the early 2000s.

In the sense that no traditional cheats exist for a serversided RTS or MOBA yes. This game is serversided which is why its so aggravatingly buggy actually - any packets not properly recieved result in your claims not working, downed players sliding around shooting, and you getting shot through walls. This is why MOBAs straight up pause your game and resync you because its better than the game looking buggy as hell the higher your ping is. Technically its a terrible idea for netcode in a shooter to be strictly serversided and will result in you getting shot through walls, but it IS effective at preventing client side modifications to the game.
You will never see someone speedhacking around ranked games in League one tapping the nexus and you will never see someone speedhacking here because the client does not have any access to character speed, damage, location, and so on it’s all generated by the server. Say you bypass the anticheat on your OS by designing something complex to run RAM edits off your smartphone, your phone still can’t send any information to the server because accepting that information from the client isn’t even a function it can perform at all.
Thus cheats are actively limited by the server and confined to player inputs/hardware (consoles already there with aim assist controllers, aimbot mice are still rough around the edges in comparison.) If you want an unmodifyable game you simply don’t trust the client at all with any information other than what the server gives them & only accept inputs in return. Granted, again this generally a pretty bad user experience for shooters because technology is not at a level where peoples internet is fast enough to not miss packets and have this negatively impact their fast-paced game.
Cheats in clientsided games were rampant in the past because they had higher access levels than the actual anticheat on the OS, we’re in an age of invasive anti-cheat kernel-based drivers now and servers logging individual keystrokes for better or worse.
Yes, I cheated in this game. I abused glitch you mention and healed outside of map borders in 3 or maybe 5 games out of more than 2000 I played. Yet I don’t know how that made me impossible to kill? Few meters behind map limits are steep rocks and you can’t go beyond them to hide anyway. Only possible locations which you can go further than few meters beyond map borders are lakes (south in Backwater and east in Derailed), but you would be visible anyway on those lakes. So only advantage I see: It would disallow fire team from defusing bomb. As far as I know this glitch was fixed some 6 months ago.

No, you are not right. Chameleon Wallhack (thus Cham) use API hook in DirectX library (thus DX11) to find model vertex in Z buffer (depth) “which tells camera” if the model should be visible or not. Then it simply makes that model visible. Link to unknowncheats.me points to somebody’s work who did the boring work to lookup needed “footprints” to highlight them. In Z buffer there are no objects like “player” or “tree” and you have to guess them by their depth and dimensions. So it work because they interact with data going to graphics card, not to server.

If you can become a pixel search master with undetectable cham signatures in a no-name game with all the characters rendered in approximate locations by all means go ahead instead of making tournament money, granted its a skin and you don’t even have a functional wallhack to show for it.
There’s a thousand people with a thousand crappy flickery chams barely functioning on one resolution. Player location is still generated by the server so the result is jumpy trash. You have better chances trying to sell something that just partially attempts a half assed job removing most of the static foliage from your monitor and no one even wants to bother with that because most of the times these just do something stupid with your frames.

Every leap I got shot in the back because their is no recoil or bullet drop it’s all hit scan
The leap is in a strait line every time so it’s easy to track and get a quick sniper shot

I remember that match, but we might have a different outcome in the next. A couple of the guys here in the forums have beat me in pubs. I take pubs as just training, I don’t get overly upset when I lose.
