Ah really, sorry, that did not reach me, else I would have responded. Sadly, inviting most of the time seems to not work, not work completely or other bullshit…
I did not say that, I just said, as long as we do not play together, I do not care what you do or what you don’t… (or at least this is what I wanted to express)… Slightly another thing :)

Here’s the difference between macro, scroll wheel and clicking. Judge for yourself how bad the recoil is.
After making this test, I stopped using the damn macro because as fun as it is, is useless.
For those having trouble with recoil on guns, switch to the first assault rifle. That is a BB gun that has no fucking recoil. Been playing several days using it and fuck if the damage is low, you will nail pretty much all your shots.

Bro , to say its useless? Scout duelist and the handgun? It would eat preds for breakfast! Recoil can be worked around , as someone who has always played shooting games on console? You get a feel for recoil . Man even in this game , I use the recoil! I aim lower on a target and let the recoil guide me up for a headshot 😁

I don’t want to get involved in any witch-hunt against specific players, but it doesn’t inspire confidence to learn that the only reason a particular macro was ceased to be used was because it wasn’t effective. So, if it had been effective?..
Again, I don’t want to dunk on specific people as I think this ‘arms-race’ approach to finding every little advantage, game aid, and shortcut is just a general part of PC gaming culture. There isn’t the concern about having a fair, level playing field in a community that has widely different gaming setups, as opposed to the console community which has a much more straightforward and standardised platform.
I think if you’re a console player who is going to be playing a PC player, as well as factoring in the fact they already have a high advantage in M/K, graphics, and platform performance, you are also going to have to accept that there’s a good chance they’ll also have no qualms about using other software enhancements to aid and automate their gameplay.
If you’re ok with that situation then fine. I myself am not so sure I’d want to play a game of chess where the opponent started off with two or three queens.

This exactly describes what is so fucked up… we PC players have so many advantages over Playstation and for some people it is not enough 🤮

yup. pretty much. at the end of the day, unless you are playing in a tournament that forbids it, is safe to assume everyone will use everything at their disposal to be better at the game. Low graphics, more powerful GPU, faster response M&K, freesync/g-sync monitors, macros, etc. This happens pretty much on every game out there. Everyone on CS:GO, CoD:MW, Battlefield, Battlefront, etc. does it. Nobody cares if is fair or what not. If you can do it, is game. Only reason people avoid aimbots and wallhacks is because if they use them, they risk getting banned. And trust me, nobody wants to risk getting their account disabled when they own more than 50 games on steam. I personally own over 200 games on steam, around 50 on EPIC. I would not for a second consider using those things if they put at risk losing all the money I’ve invested.
But then comes the other problem… when everything becomes so easy, people simply stop playing. It has happened with the majority of players in the PCDS discord. No one wants to team up because is too easy, and playing solo is boring.
I’ve been running basic loadouts, the first assault rifle, the first pistol, no specialization, no damage boost perks or shit and is still so easy that it becomes boring. Only bit of challenge is playing solo and is still not enough of a challenge. This is without macros or whatever. That’s why I stopped playing FT and started playing Pred. FT had become boring unless I’m hanging out with friends and in all honesty, the only reason to play FT is to talk and joke around with those guys, gameplay is still meh now.
After playing pred for a month or so it also has become boring af because is the same, either too easy against the majority of players or way too difficult against good payers. There’s no middle ground here.
People will eventually move away from the game. The majority of good players have not played the game in weeks now. Guess we will wait until the next patch and the same cycle. People come in, play for a week or two and then move on to something else.
I got tired already. As soon as we find a new game to play with friends, we will put this game in the locker. Game is dead now for us.

Funny, but I’m honestly not throwing pitchforks Jelou’s way. The issue is mainly like I said - the PC community just doesn’t tend to see things like Macros as ‘cheats’ because they’re so used to having differing equipment and setups amongst themselves. I certainly wouldn’t put Jelou in the same category as someone like ‘the under-map troll’ (he who cannot be named for fear of summoning).
The only reason Jelou has been singled-out recently is because he acknowledged that he’s used macros on occasions. I’m sure there are a ton of other ‘high-end’ PC players who are being a lot coyer about their use of them.

i didn’t “get caught”. I’ve always openly admitted to use such tools and even argue that I don’t see them as cheating. IMO if the macro works, is because the developers implemented that firing rate. They allow it. It only works with one gun. All other guns are restricted, which begs the question, why? Why does the grimtech allow for a 15 bullet per second fire rate while the 1011 does not? Macros will not make the gun shoot faster than what the devs intended it to shoot. They will make it easier to fire that fast, at the expense of accuracy.

Or for the longest time in this game “If as FT I can crouch and arrows pass right through me. It’s intended as a counter”?
