After the energy change Chopper has been the most painful thing ever to play as. I try using range with the shoulder caster I can barely use two fully charged shots while clocked. I use the bow or pistol same issue with fighting at a distance cuz of energy draining too quickly. Even up close with these range weapons, Chopper loses momentum because he has to ADS to shoot making him super easy to just get melted since his HP is little.
You can barely run any good perks because his perk numbers are low at 10. Even doubling up damage reduction doesnāt mean much because again his HP is small. So maybe buff his perk numbers to 13?
Disciplined feels so counterintuitive because of how terrible his energy is for distance combat, and irrelevant for melee because of running sounds.
Warrior parry stun reduction is so meaningless because itās not a fast enough recovery to get away from fireteam players that can keep melee attacking u in the stun animation.
Iād suggest replacing these two specializations for Analytic because Chopper desperately needs some sort of damage buff to maintain some sort of pressure at range as well as melee and probably Savage makes the most sense for how small his HP is to heal on the go without giving up distance and pressure against fireteam.
Iād also suggest since his energy is so fast draining give chopper a passive damage reduction by 10% while cloaked and receives 5% more damage while in energy overload, this would encourage ppl to use emp mines also to bait chopper into melee
And come on! Chopper has the lowest slam damage too? GIVE CHOOPER SOME LOVE ā¤ļø @IllFonic
