I think ghost is what the humans called him in the movie. Or at least referred to him at one point. But that has more to do with the fact that they had no clue what was killing them. I think the first definitive name for him was City Hunter in Concrete Jungle.

Ok I hate to come back just to be that guy but.
Is anyone else slightly worried about CH’s mask as it’s currently depicted in the roadmap? Kinda lacking depth and being smaller / having a weird shape?
Pleease don’t rush it Illfonic, we now know it’s coming, so if needed…take your time!
(Maybe it’s just a placeholder like Jungle Hunter in the early preorder ad screens and I’m overthinking it)

There are still some things ‘off’ with the Jungle Hunter* skin, so it’s quite possible City Hunter isn’t going to be entirely accurate. It’s likely they need to make some concessions in order for it to fit the base character models. ‘CH’ does have an extremely large head in proportion to his body.
*When first released, JH had quite a lot wrong, but they have at least updated certain parts (shoulder pack, plasma cannon, wrist blades) since then to be a bit more movie accurate. The Elder, however, uses the base generic Hunter body shape/weapons with a few minor cosmetic changes, so is not very accurate at all.

Game needs actual meaningful gameplay content not skins. All you City Hunter people clamouring for one of the least memorable predators to appear here. Meanwhile we have a grand total of THREE maps, a smorgasbord of bugs, glitches and issues and a playerbase that’s slowly dying. City Hunter people are already here, this won’t bring in new players. Game needs fixes, content and new maps and modes and reasons to play not fuckin Shitty Hunter skin.
Honestly, fuck all you guys for begging for this shit so hard, this is NOT what this game needs. Have fun with your skin, it’ll be nice to play with for a few months/weeks before predator queues reach 30 minutes as the playerbase keeps dropping off and eventually everyone stops playing since nobody is going to wait half an hour to play a 10 minute match. But at least you’ll get your city hunter!
And then of course, we won’t see another Predator game for 10 years again since this one is being handled like such complete and utter shit. Not just in terms of how weak of a game it was at launch, but in the post launch content just being total garbo driving more and more people away and hammering more nails into the shoddy coffin that this games still warm corpse already resides within.

I’m not particular bothered about City Hunter either (got JH, and Elder - they do me fine), but to bitch at those who are excited to get CH and blame them for the game’s lack of gameplay content is ridiculous.
This skin was undoubtably always planned to be released (after JH, he is the most famous/recognisable Pred). The developers haven’t suddenly thought “Hey, loads of people are clamouring for CH, we better stop work on the maps to rush him out!” The people who work on skins are likely not the same ones working on maps and gameplay mechanics anyway.
So yeah, bitch and moan about the developers not fixing bugs, adding gameplay content, maps etc. all you want, but spare us the condescending BS claiming this is the fault of people who wanted CH.

Dude bearly anybody here thinks the game is ok as it is, in fact the overwheming majority are very aware of priorities and explicitly advocates for changes and fixes. This doesn’t mean that at the same time they can’t be anticipating and be eager to play as one of the most iconic Predator in the franchise.
Sure, you may not like it, but I’m fairly sure people in this topic don’t give a fuck.
So, probably not the best idea to come here in a fucking City Hunter topic complaining that people like to see City Hunter in game, which by the way are the majority because duh, it’s fucking Predator. Probably better start to use your enthusiasm to move constructive criticism in the feedback or bug report sections.

Oh sure, there will be inconsistencies with size and proportions, I’m ready for that. Still, I’m quite happy with the JH & Elder we currently have, the detalis are pretty good imo. But the CH image I was referring to just feels off to me, Idk. If it depicts the way it currently looks, I hope they improve the model by the time of release

I’m not hyped. Haven’t played the game in days. Getting pretty fed up with doing the same thing and being stuck at 150.

To be fair, last couple of days I have been (tryin to be) playing quite a bit.
I wish I could have reached the level you’re at and be able to say I got bored, but the 8-12min wait times (which we can somewhat understand) ON TOP of the the astounding amount of game breaking bugs I ve encountered (some of which I had never even seen reported before) almost destroyed the possibility of an actual gaming experience.
So yes I can’t wait to play as City Hunter and use his weapons, and at the same time…I can’t wait to be able to play without it being an awfully frustrating experience.
I’ll try and post something in the bug section shortly.
