Had to ask around about it but Ghost is a fan name that came from Predator 2. The kid in the cemetery says he saw a ghost which led to the name. Kind of like Jungle Hunter being known at one point as “Anytime”. I don’t believe he’s officially called Ghost in anything however and it’s just a fan-name from a period in time where no one knew what to call him. City Hunter was however in usage since roughly 2005.
Snake I believe however actually was used to denote a Predator from Predator 2 as a member of the Lost tribe/hunters seen at the end of the movie. It is used by Neca though I’m not sure if this was originally a fan name that actually got used or if it was a production name that we all somehow found out about.

Actually both names are correct - City Hunter is being used nowdays by Hot Toys and Neca, but I have an old Neca figure and name on the box was Ghost. Also Snake in Neca is called Shadow in Hot Toys. If I’m correct than every one of them (lost tribe members) have two names. Like Gort is also known as Guardian
BTW - first thing I will do on Tusday is put Anytime’s helmet on Ghost to creat Lost Tribes scout look <3

Stalkers also called brother boar and I feel each name is a take on their look like how in movies I think or comics ppl could call them demons of the jungle it’s a name for what’s not known to have a name so instead of city hunter(bland) he’s referred to as ghost in neca ect lol just my take on the multiple names of preds

With CityHunter being a paid DLC, this is exactly why we need new different dynamic end cinematics for the predator (on the FT side as well as Predator)…because the flatness lighting of the jungle, doesn’t do the models justice. Really need something that scares the bejeezus out of us from now until the years end. Really really really need it! This is the thing that Illfonic really needs to establish a little more in response to new Predator DLCs. Just look how this company does promos
If every DLC including Samurai, CityHunter…were to have brand new cinematics adding to the existing line up…I would gladly plant my money honey on the table even if I didn’t even play as predator much. I’d do it.
But thats not to say they won’t get it. because if they put some muscle into developing these peices, it will pay off. Like anyone knows what collecting comics was like in the 90s. This hopefully will be the same type of items were looking for.
To me the DLCs appear to be model and weapons…it seems like audio is hard to come by. But if they continue to update the DLCs with patches to give us more well rounded product, it wont be a let down.

Just putting this here as well (made a topic about it too).
This flaw will be seen EVERY TIME you see the City Hunter’s intro. Really hope they can address it. This pic should be tweeted to them as well. If someone would do the honours, it would be most appreciated.

P.s. also the upper part of the mask in the roadmap pic is curved, whereas the original was pretty much straight because of the big flat forehead-scalp of the CH

Yup! Neca used to reffer to City Hunter as Ghost, but now they have a new figure they call Ghost, a very pale pred with Jungle Hunter armour on:

Today is the big day
It won’t feel like its actual debut for me because I won’t be playing as predator for a bit (super long queues), but I’m still gonna grab it unless for some reason they messed it up badly looks wise
