Tell that to everyone I’ve decimated using only the PC that tried to find cover, the only time they ever caused damage was when I went in for melee because I got bored of playing the range game.

I still think this is more than fair. 50 meters is the working distance of a predator, from such a distance it can initiate both a close conflict and break the distance. however, it is still produced by sounds and effects.

I never said run around. I said get a better position with clear line of sight on your teammates. Flank the pred who is trying tp range yall out and get that 145 back of the head shot. Yall snipers got start playing like Izzy from Predators. She was never up on a hill
Camping it out she was in the thick trying to get a good read and get the perfect shot.

I mean idk what to tell them other than git gud. Idk about them but I always try to find the perfect angle when sniping not just camp one spot.

That’s the real problem. 2.03 developed my range game to a ridiculous level since the only way I could be successful was run and gun. Now with a working cloak and that skill set developed? It almost ain’t fair.

Especially with height advantage, impenetrable and dithered lense, they’ll never see the shot coming and if they find me I just tank the shots while I relocate.

Same here. I have been strictly a range pred from beta. So i find no difficulty in using the pc as a main weapon. (Love the salt mail i get) but to go ahead and say that a normal human can see a invisible object moving 100 meters out is ridiculous

Lol a true sniper doesn’t get detected, and can hold their spot.

It’s a bit harder here cause of thermal and shit, but I’m thinking of when I used to play mw3.
I Had snipe spots where I did not move at all, and ppl couldn’t find me.

They would even walk over me.
Thats what true sniping is. Not being located, holding your spot.

That ain’t camping.

I’m just playing devils advocate here, I called out the bullshit of the FT for a long time and I’m not gonna hold back on the preds bullshit either. Granted this isn’t too much of a hassle but I know many randoms will struggle a lot whereas the experienced players will adapt to it however the team shouldn’t rely on one good person to carry them and to just say git gud is the same thing FT mains said to anyone that complained about their bullshit.

Yeah but we’re not really going for full realism here. A normal human would also be dead from one well placed wrist blade swipe.

Someone mentioned a fade off shimmering effect. Maybe start that at 50m out to 100m…although personally I think what we have now extended to 75m would be optimal.

Like I said this is tricky to balance out but I think we’re getting good ideas here at least.

I’m find with about 75m and a bit of blur when leaping at closer ranges. Then I’ll be content that it isn’t a nerf or to strong, one way or the other.
