i think having the movement speed of the recon but having the health of a support is a bit much,

that and the fact that hands down this new weapon is easyly the best weapon in the game for the fire team now.

i would say some sorta nerf needs to happen to the fire team, or buff the health of the predator. it just simply doesnt fit right now as is.

the Predator struggles to deal damage fast enough to matter, i think if they bumped up the med kits carrying wight to 7 that would fix this forcing players to have to play Support in ordder to heal spam i think would be a welcome and very much needed change as the Fire team at the moment can Dish out more Damage per attack and Per second now as you have a heavy hitting Nade launcher dealing 15% of the predators health with its splash Damage ( not saying i want this removed but a tone down couldnt hurt much) then you have the Rifle in the same hand that you can switch between instantly that deals 5% of the predators health pre shot with a fire rate of 300RPM i think this is a bit too much.

I didnt wanna be the guy screaming “op op” so i jumped in a few matches for the first time solo queing and never lost one game ever. i think this is a problem.

as a Personal message to the Devs at illfonic, be very carefull not to sway the game too far in the favor of the Fireteam the name of the game is PREDATOR hunting grounds Key word being “Predator” people paid for a Predator game not a MW2 remake with Predators involed so once again i’ll state.

Be very carefull not to sway blance too much in the favor of fire team.

I don’t know dude. The Predator seemed more than capable of dealing with us last night. Before the update me and my friend has a good success rate, but last night we were getting creamed by Predator players (granted it was the usual slam spam and combistick rush for most of the wins), but even the Predators we did beat gave us a really hard time and it took alot of effort to get them. Dutch runs out of stamina too fast to keep up with the others…

The balance you seek will be when you get the Alpha Predator DLC (maybe next month because it’s already in the game and some players have been able to use it), that things a beast. If you start nerfing the new stuff now, the cycle will follow through when you get that Alpha class and then that have to be nerfed. Let’s wait to see how the two go up against each other first.

Also, against a Scout or Hunter you’ve got to have some PC expert level aim skills with that grenade launcher. I used it all last night, and could barely land a shot on a constantly moving Predator. The only time I hit one was when it was dumb enough to make a claim in front of me. If anything, this weapon forces Predator players to think before they rush in with their usual melee spam. At least give it a week to adjust and adapt before suggesting changes.

Lmao its already way far into the fts favor. It’s been like that since they nerfed the plasma cannon.
I havent had too much trouble with the new gun, I’ve gotten a few Dutch players who actually killed themselves with it xD.

Specifically theres one gun that does way too much damage on the ft side. It hits harder than the new dutch gun. I know a lot of ppl dont agree but ft does way too much damage, at least a few of the guns.

But I think instead of nerfing the guns, we just boost plasma cannon damage, and turn the ft guns into projectiles instead of hit scan, with a bit more damage drop off.

If they can hit hard, doing a lot of damage, so should we then. Buff pc lol.

and i disagree i have played a few matches as predator and it seems like slam spam is really the only tatic that can work… all other options just cant deal the kinda damage fast enough to matter so i mean i wish i could say fair point but form my testing and game play going to have to disagree with you sorry

I honestly feel that with the Predator who I have only played with I havent even tried fireteam but my opinion is I have the most success when I take my time and pick them off all too often rushing into the middle of the fight leaves you venerable to being attacked by everybody not just the fire team which can make things difficult especially if fireteam is in the middle of a heated fire fight

a four staked team of pc players lowering their settings too see better and all on discord playing all supports with heal spaming glueing them selfs to each other. thats pretty much an un winabble fight for the predator, and i dont believe that the predator should ever be in an un winabble fight

I’ve never played a FPS game before, this is my first. I’m usually a 3rd person game player (Metal Gear, GTA/RDR2 that style).

So, because of them, everyone on PS4 and the PC players who don’t exploit the game have to be penalised? Why should I have to accept nerfs to my stuff because of others bad behaviour. Only for me to have to come on here and decry the nerfs and say it’s impossible to win against a PC Predator?? It’s an endless circle at this point. They’ve buffed many of the Predators weapons, and the majority of Pred mains on here are having fun with the challenge and aren’t complaining at all.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with douchebags like that, maybe just play against PS4 FT for a while. I’ve switched crossplay off because of exploits used against us, and I enjoy the games so much more now and they last longer.

Sammy you are right, however this statment was alredy made to Illfonic at least 150 times and they simply don’t give a shit, for as long as we will be buing their DLC’s they won’t do nothing pal.

I know its not much at all, but persopnally I’m not paying for this or any other DLC until this game is the way it was promised to us when we decided to buy it - Predator : Hunting Grounds so Predator hunting humans. Not the other way around

Hell yeah, I’m all for that. Sounds fair. In fact, the hand held plasma caster needs buffing alot. It’s a short to mid range weapon for quick strikes, not something you should expect to fire from the trees and get kills. So they would need to make sure it didn’t become just another shoulder cannon. The hand held plasma cannon is still viable, but it takes a skilled player to use it well. I’ve seen a player slaughter a FT with the Warclub, a weapon that seems to be a joke whenever people mention it in here. But again, each weapon requires a different approach.

And God damn, I’m more scared of cocky Dutch players on my Fireteam killing me with that grenade launcher than I am of the Predator. It’s like they lose their minds and start shooting them everywhere. Some tool destroyed an explosive barrel that was near me with his, took me down🙄

To be fair ven, I’m on ps4 and I think ft does too much damage, compared to what pred can dish out.
But its like I said, its cause of one gun. And no it’s not the new dutch AR.

I know it has a slightly slower fire rate, but drops a pred waaaaay to fkn quick.

If it helps, I dont want the new AR nerfed. It’s annoying but eh. I’d honestly would just like plasma caster buffed a bit. Not a lot. But enough to get ppl to stop being so cocky when you use it.

I also think projectiles instead of hit scan would help balance things alot.

I don’t know anything about those games, so can’t honestly comment. Never played them, they never interested me at all to even watch gameplay videos except for Friday 13th.

If Dutch’s gun is OP and it gets nerfed before going free, then the prophecy has come true.

Light weight pay to win.

I hope this isn’t the case and over time we will see where that gun fits in.

I think there are tons of folks using it atm which can certainly skew things.
