The thing is though… should the predator have that high of a learning curve? Should it not be the other way around with FT having more of a learning curve than the pred? Don’t the Devs want the star of the game to be the most accessible to everyone? I mean if not people will get frustrated and leave. It won’t help with the game’s player base that I know for sure.
Better still, as someone who understands it through experience, could you give me the lay-mans version because a wiki definition is usually just a word salad that doesn’t resonate or give the right impression.
To me, it’s just another game with different rules, layout and structure to which I need to adapt to be able to enjoy it fully. Sometimes advertising agencies will throw words at stuff to make it sound like something it isn’t, because that’s marketing and how business tends to sell us everything we don’t really need or want.
Pay to win + Grinding/modding to get every perk in the game + looking up the most op builds to use and learn how to use them = rank 1 killer, skill doesnt even go into it, also Lobby dodging is a factor in it as well.

Dude this is just straight up denying facts. Play the game! It’s an action game. You are in a bright jungle with red tiger camo guns blowing things up shooting things down. Predator itself is a Science fiction Action flick. There are 0 horror elements to this game. Just cause I call my dog a cat doesn’t make it a feline. The game is not a horror game, it is indeed an action game. Play it as Fireteam and tell me how frightened you are lol
Well, the gun and knife will be free for everyone in June. The Dutch class itself is only for those who paid for it, because Arnold’s fee needs to be accounted for in all the profit projections and quarterly stuff. The Alpha Predator will most likely be the same, where the Alpha Class is for those who pay for it but the weapons etc will be free to all. The Alpha Predator will be the balance against the Dutch Class, that seems to be the line of thinking the Devs are using from where I’m looking. And then there’s two more DLCs we have no idea what they will contain and how they will affect the game.
The only solution to stop any Pay To Win advantages, is to only allow those classes to be used in Private Matches? I don’t have all the answers, I wish I did.

asymmetrical horror is a game genre where typically 1 players controls a power role too witch that control the flow of the game. is also tasked with killing off the players
then theres the 4 weak roles that are tasked with escaping the game or match, as the killer trys to kill them the players must hide/fight/ or run form the power role inordder to win the game.
the weaker roll is typically forced to work as a team too do what is needed to leave the match/game while also suriving agaisnt the power role.
thats asymmetrical horror.

That sounds like so much fun for the Predator player and also the FT players!
How about an Aimbot too?
Or the ability to fly and hover over the map?
Or maybe an “I WIN” button would suffice?

i didnt say pay to win killers i said pay to win, theres loads of perks in the game you cant get with out RNG through the shrine witch can take up wards of months to get the perk you want, or you pay 10 bucks for it ergo pay to win,
If this is the way it goes, it’s riding the fine line of pay 2 win.
And if so, I think there is no way they will ban the op classes from Public matches or that would defeat most of the incentive for folks to buy them.
Note: I am holding off on buying any DLC and waiting to see how this pans out.

If you think there is a single build in the game I could run on Clown going against a 4 stack of SWF all running Borrowed time, Decisive strike, Dead Hard, and Adrenaline, you have not played the game at high levels friend. If you beat that squad, with the fuckin clown, it’s cause you are good at the game. No killer perk in the game Halts that shit.
i said near to effortless and godmode? sorta? kinda like in F13 where you cant kill him intell the mask comes off. doesnt really make much sense to me to make a game about a space alien with super high tec weapons to be wayyyyyyyyyy better then humans yet he struggles on 4 78 year olds with m4a1 carbines and Nade launchers.

yes i think the predator needs to be a bigger threat to the game then he is now. the predator is ment to be a monster, instead is more like a water brige troll that stabs your ankles and your move to kick him out of your way and move on with your day. all im asking for is i dont want this game to be about the fireteam i want it too be about the predator.

Yeah I know this guy probably thinks I’m just here to argue but I’m really not. But if this is your idea of a fun predator game whip out the old PS2 and play Concrete Jungle. This is a PVP game and if it was just inherently unbalanced to where winning was near guaranteed as the predator the game would die over night
