I was still in San Antonio when that happened. What a disgrace, and the poor parents that wanted to go in without any weapons at all, but were held back.

“Practical” effects are not practical. They are more expensive today than CGI and they rarely look any better. Look at the first alien movie and how basic the movement was. Practical effects rely on setting the atmosphere with a “hidden monster” because if they show it, it looks and moves silly. But today people want to see the monster. So, CGI to the rescue. Don’t like it? That’s fair, but it doesn’t make a movie bad because of it.

It actually doesn’t. I have a friend who is overly sensitive to “woke” culture and Hollywood feminism, and he didn’t pick up on any of that during this movie.

was not “ totally fine “, leg cut hard and in pain. Watch movie again , pay attention , no tugging your totem pole seeing my soft native ankle .
