you don’t get it do you. the reason all the fireteam dlcs aren’t a thing anymore is because of all the licensing. illfonic quite literally cannot afford to make this dlc

illfonic would have to pay the actor (along with other companies) in order to use their image/likeness and get voice lines. that’s what they did for all the previous fireteam dlcs. it’s just too expensive. that’s why you can’t get them anymore
correct, all of the FT are the most expensive to boot content wise. except maybe OWLF soldier but he was free too right? His voice content changes with the class.
There is no reason though that they couldn’t just give them all new hats or something.
Illfonic have flat out said that they aren’t creating anymore Fireteam DLCs anytime in the foreseeable future, and that Predator DLCs will be the priority.
The reasoning behind this is Predator DLCs are a lot less costly, and bring in more profit than Fireteam DLCs. They don’t have to worry about anywhere near as much licensing & spending with random Predators or even Movie Predators as opposed to Fireteam DLCs. Heck, Illfonic probably wiped out 50-75% of their budget back in the day just getting Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness & voicelines for Dutch. And that’s not even including the likes of the licensing required for Alice Braga (Isabelle) & Marshawn Lynch (Dante).
Or maybe they can save money and add OCHINCHIN.FT.
Yes! So when the Predator comes close to the downed Fireteam player to claim a trophy then the Pred will get a wet and sticky reward instead. Almost like in the scene in Scary Movie. What a big and unexpected surprise it would be for the Predator player!
