Critical Analysis of Deanimated ‘High Level Play’

So I am not typically one for this kind of post targeting a specific individual but after watching and reviewing it as I did so I felt that, considering the OP was closed by said individual, this was worth putting up as an example to any new Predators of how NOT to play. The slam animation cancel skating aside this was largely reminiscent of the stereotypical noobzerker that largely just doesn’t understand the game and rushes in head first into any engagement, combistick in hand, to try to wipe out any given Fireteam upfront but somehow even worse.

1:30 dumbest slam I have ever seen. Firstly your dumbass sat there crouched behind a building for far too long doing nothing like you are stalking your prey even though you have already confirmed visual contact in a position where you have very limitted options for aggression. Then the first chance you got with a stationary target… is not to line up an easy charged shot to prep to two tap him for free… but immediately jump into the middle of them like a bum fucking retard and lose 15-20% of your health for literally no reason even with your bullshit skating. Also your evasive maneuvering leaves a a lot to be desired. You just jumped in every spot that was as open and free of any obstructions as you could so they could keep tabs on you. Incidentally your animation cancel skating cheating is the only reason you made it out of that.

2:50 Wow, surprised you actually hit something with that bow. Well you know what they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Also once again leap smash cancel is the only reason you got that kill and survived as well, as was the case with the first one as well. So two normal hits so far and you have lost almost all your health with each one. Brilliant.

4:00 dumbest way to just obviously give away your position. The guy who was crouching at the start to peek around a building then decided to do a ten foot leap towards the edge of a cliff so everyone can see his cloak shimmering against the sun and jungle canopy.

4:30 you got every bullet you deserved for that dumbass play. Literally just jumped right into the middle of them like a classic noobzerker and started meleeing blindly. No evasive maneuvering, no bobbing and weaving among the FT and the bushes and landscape or nothing. Just straight up ran in with a 20 IQ play and derped out.
4:45 Ooooo the stamina regen bug. Anyone else I would offer my condolences but I think this is your just punishment for the slam cancelling you had been pulling which arguably delayed you getting Second Winded there a few seconds more.

6:20 nothing to see there but if you had that combistick you just flashed this entire time… why did you not even bother to use it when you rushed before into the middle of them? I mean you say you have that macro so you can swap weapons but the one time thus far where it might have helped ya some you just dropped the ball on it? Why are you meleeing with claws if you have that?

7:30 You should have lost about half your health with that far too rushed slam of yours but skaters gonna skate. Once again jumping blindly into the midst of them and expecting to get away with it albeit you did for much cheaper than you should have been able to. 50 bucks says your dumbass turns back and just does the same exact shit again expecting a different result. Let’s watch.

8:10 and you missed literally everything with that slam and now somebody owes me 50 bucks. It’s at this point though I have to ask… why the fuck do you have the bow equipped? That’s an honest question because in 8 minutes I have seen you shoot that thing once, maybe twice. What the point of that weapon if you aren’t gonna use it? Just replace it with the fucking net gun dude. At least then rushing into the middle of them you might have a hope and a prayer of doing something beyond making yourself a mild nuisance.

8:50 And you got exactly what you deserved. Slam animation cancel aside that was a very poor line of decision making. It is appears you either got angry and frustrated or panicked because once again you rushed in blindly for a quick claim, not knowing where any of them were and just assumed you could just walk in and kill them and tank the damage and you paid for it once again.

2/10. Some of those slams were fairly decent but you once again relied almost exclusively upon this sole attack for all of your damage. Your bow was largely neglected until the very last moments and your combistick was a wasted item slot entirely. If you had bear traps or motion sensors not once did you use them. You rushed in blindly headlong with reckless abandon and just tried to trade hit for hit against an experienced Fireteam and you ultimately lost for it. And most of your kills should not even have occurred except for the slam cancel and even that wasn’t enough to carry the overwhelming weight of your collective faults and follies.

Thought he was gonna slam-dunk…ended up going Slam-"duh?"🤣🤣 The very definition of karma and poetic justice. I admire that he used mostly thermal vision like a true Predator, but apart from that there’s nothing else I was impressed with. The Fireteam deserved that win for sure… We would have chased him down when he hit second wind and ended it there. GG to the Fireteam, because slam spam + animation exploit frustrates the f@@@ outta me.

My biggest thing was he just huddled at random spots for no apparent reason and he had a bow and a combistick and never once used the combi and virtually never used the bow and then most of his attacks were blindly slamming into the middle of them then running for the hills when he got lit up for being careless. Like what was the point of even having any weapons at all if that was all you were gonna do?

Wild abandon, reckless and for a one trick pony the execution left something to be desired even of that. And even with that one trick the only reason he lasted half as long as he did was because of the cancel exploit. If not for that he would have been dead inside five minutes.

Ummm… ok lol. I mean I don’t really have much to tell ya man. I don’t necessarily disagree this kind of thing is a bit petty but… so is anyone showing footage of like a toxic Fireteam or salty Predator and people breaking that down. Do you agree that is equally petty?

Where did the see the name displayed? By all means show me where I called this individual out by name. But since you evidently know who this is doesn’t it stand to reason that an individual that claims such expertise as to label his gameplay ‘high level’ and ‘highly competitive’ whilst making no shortage of controversial claims based upon this alleged experience and expertise should not be critically analyzed to judge the merit of his claims against the merits of his prowess? Curious you would find such analysis to be shameful. Isn’t it only natural?

Correction: The same adamantly defending animation cancelling exploits and even going so far as to make the bold claim they are necessary to ‘high level gameplay’ and yet… this is the level he operates at. I’m not the one going out there and asserting these claims of myself being a high level player, he is. So why is his skill beyond criticism? He even made a whole thread dedicated to explaining why grievous exploits like this should be permitted based upon this perceived experience. I didn’t do that, he did that. So I am putting his shit to the microscope. I didn’t make a whole thread dedicated to analyzing his shit until he did that because if we are gonna get down into the nitty gritty of this shit then he better have the experience to back up his claims and from what is displayed it is clearly lacking regardless of what your metrics are. Exactly why should I give him a pass? He wants to put out this shit but then it is suddenly beyond the pale for someone to, very summarily I might add, address the biggest faults of his as a player? I’m a little confused about how me criticizing someone with some actual depth is ME going beyond the pale but him making these bold assertions is beyond reproach.

I think what bothers you most about this is that you are just as elitist as he is and you empathize with that when you make these claims about how if you can’t hit a rapidly moving airborne target bearing down on you it is because you are shit or a console user and need aim assist to operate on a basic level and you want to condemn any degree of criticism that might ultimately lead to you being exposed yourself, much as him, as the fraud that you likely are that has this giant ego but nothing to show for it. And I think that is what your problem with this is and I wouldn’t have just made that assumption if you hadn’t been, recently, going on threads and telling new players if they can’t hit a Predator leaping at them with roughly a quarter of a clip then it is because they are trash or only on console. I believe in treating people how they treat others and if you are going to be an egotistical, asinine little prick to people who just clearly are fresh out of the store on this game then I am gonna treat you in kind and that is what I am doing here. So maybe if he doesn’t want to be criticized he shouldn’t be such an arrogant cunt.

At that the point is there really a difference between me and you are are doing to new players on here? There is. These new players aren’t making elitist and asinine claims. Your friend is. But you go at them the same way so am going at him. You shamed new players for not being able to aim at high levels out of the gate. What’s your excuse?

This isn’t coaching. This is exposure and criticism. If he came to me today and asked me for help I would be more than happy to set the shit aside and offer him real advice and practice. But he wants to make these claims so I am gonna analyze them critically and harshly because I’m an asshole like that. How is that hypocritical?

I give a basic solution & basic counters to basic frequently asked questions rather than jumping to the nerf bat whether you agree with that or not is up to you. What you’re doing is spazzing out over a thread that’s already been taken down.
