Ps4 players vs PC players are always at a disadvantage with PC players, they have better more powerful machines and better internet connection to consoles especially since I only have ps4 slim, I was defeated by a assault and recon!
Cross play Difficulty
You can turn crossplay off, doesnāt seem to effect queue times in my experience.
Yeah just turn off crossplay
Itās all about the player, not the machine. Sure PC can do this and that to exploit the game, but it doesnāt mean you canāt beat them.
They are beatable. But I donāt even wanna game at that level right now. Iām cool with casually blowing off steam till the next update
Sure, it takes some skill, but consoles are at a disadvantage on many ways.
Anything that introduces latency to the game will just put you at a disadvantage. That includes ping, input lag and FPS. PC gamers almost always will use an ethernet connection, not wifi. That results in lower ping times. PC players use wired controllers, that gets rid of the input lag. Lastly PC players have better perfoming GPUs and on top have the ability to adjust graphics settings in order to get even better performance, getting stable FPS at much greater refresh rates than the consoles.
I donāt mention the use of keyboard and mouse because, even though on average it is way easier to aim with a mouse than with a joystick, I personally know a lot of people who can aim just as good or even better using a controller. And although on PC, I played this game for months on the couch using a controller and I can aim decently with it. It just takes practice.
Better internet? Just hardwire??
The tracking with mouse and keyboard is far superior to controller as well, the accuracy available to PC players is beyond what you can hope for on console using even the most expensive controller.
Iām sorry to say but cross play is going to be the future of gaming. Call of duty started the trend and has had a lot of success DBD has cross play now. It will eventually just be apart of every game
Actually, the pc āadvantageā comes from their ability to turn down graphics until the smaller bushes and leaves are invisible. This leads to being spotted and shot by snipers at longer ranges.
Then there is an advantage to holding on target when shooting. Not inherent to pc vs ps4 as there are a few top FPS games that have proper smoothing and aim assist to compensate for thumb sticks. Sadly, this game is opposite of that, and the aim is too stiff, linear, and lacks proper assist to hold target.
So basically, to beat pc players youāll need to use larger hard cover like small buildings, walls, and vehicles. Be very bursty with damage. Never expose yourself to fire from more than one player, but that applies to really good ps4 players, too. Basically, take down one person at a time, make sure they donāt get revived, and you should be able to beat most pc players.
Iām a PC player and i have met several good PS4 Predators that has slapped me to death, even though it took a while for them.
Ive never turned my graphics down and we still kill the pred on both platforms with ease. 99% of the time the predator runs in gets second wind and we follow. People just want something to complain about most of the time and use the platforms as an argument. Iāve seen PS4 squads destroy preds. The issue is this is a team game and some people donāt get that in the slightest. Unfortunately I see this more on PS4 than I do with PC players . PS4 players run away or donāt contribute to the fight when really needed. Granted it only takes 2 people with LMGs to destroy a predator but that is a balancing issue not a platform issue. Sorry i guess that we use mouse and key board? I play PC with another PC player and we very rarely see PS4 players beat us in damage. I again donāt believe this to a platform issue rather than the players you are queued up with.
Nope. While that is an advantage, it is only so in certain areas of certain maps. The foliage in Overgrowth and Backwater is the same across all the map with whatever graphics settings you have. Derailed is simply broken and probably the worst map.
It is also an advantage to Predators, as PC predators can do exactly the same against FT.
Iāve seen those streams online. I would have thought that a crossplay game would start with a bare minimum(ps4) and then only allow better graphics. At least they allow players to turn crossplay off, but it really should be off by default.
I agree PC has an advantage, but not for the reasons you listed, or for some of the reasons others listed.
It is almost entirely to do with the ability to use (and aim) with a mouse vs controller.
These discussions are useless since every time a pc vs console post is open there will be every time one retarded thet think pc players are better because graphic settings š Most of pc players overwork their GPU to play with the highest graphic possible, plus in all videogames people turn down graphic for fps. Watch Overwatch, watch CSGO, watch Valorant , COD for pc as well. Mouse and Keyboard is just beyond superior for shooter games, just accept it.
Low graphics are why pc predators are getting sniped across the map. This was taken from a YouTube and that black smudge near the crosshairs is a predator that is about to get shot repeatedly from across the map.
You can still spot him without low graphic settings (First video all high and medium settings, second video all cinematic/Epic and some high) and snip across the map. Of course all low settings is an advantage but this is not the reason why pc players are better than ps4 players in this game. This game is not Evolve, is like playing cod or similiar, itās more a shooter. I donāt want to suggest to turn cross play off , just advicing to stop this usless war. Peace.
Itās not a war. I just want to make sure other ps4 players are fully informed when playing with crossplay on.
Also, the aiming āadvantageā is totally on the developers. Other games have mitigated the precise movements of the mouse by having proper exponential sensitivity and sticky aim assist.
Not difficult just pc players are using hacks and mods
