Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol, and Negative Atmosphere

I’m so happy Callisto comes out this year. That game is going to scare and frustrate the hell out of me and I’m excited for it.

Yeah it’s so awesome we’re getting so many futuristic space horror games announced back to back.

I can’t wait to accidentally discover all the gruesome ways to die in Callisto.

Do you like the remaster of hte game?

The Dead Space remake in my opinion is on a slippery slope and can end up being either good, bad, really good, or extremally bad.
I’m hoping it turns out alright but I’m ready for a train wreck regardless.

The Callisto Protocol preorder is here

Collectors edition

I mainly don’t go for collectors editions that often, and this is probably going on my “I’m not buying that list”, but I might still pre-order the game regardless.

So I’ve heard callisto project sucked (more mediocre)

How is it really

Did you enjoy playing it?

Better then Dead Space 3

The game can’t seem to raise much tension let alone get a proper scare out, except for one moment right before the credits rolls.

The melee combat is smooth but a little repetitive, your gun doesn’t do as much damage as your melee. You also get way too much ammo so your inventory is almost always full.

Only time I struggled was against the tanky mini bosses and final boss, mainly because I didn’t have any ammo.

Story was alright.

The only performance issues I noticed was extremely long load times on PS4(textures and areas included), and blurry camera movements on both PS4&PS5

I wouldn’t recommend buying it at full price but it fits well as a Substitute Dead Space 3.

It had it’s moments

To cure that, mein freund, I would reccommend a healthy dose of Darkwood. Not quite 3rd person, but it’s a top-down game and it doesn’t work via jumpscares; it functions as a proper horror game should without the crutch. There’s actual fear involved, rather than just shock.

what

In Callisto Protocol resources don’t stack well and you get like different 5 guns each gun has its own ammo type.
You got 6 inventory slots to start it upgrades to 12 but even that isn’t enough.

So you got 5 ammo types, health items, and valuable items you sell for money.

Most enemies can be easily killed with melee, but these just so many enemies and there most likely to drop money or ammo.

Ah. Sounds like fun XD
I might have to give it a try soon.

Give it a few more patches or wait until the DLC with New game + and a harder difficulty comes out.

Excellent, so I have enough time to finish Thymesia lol
It’s like bloodborne but a lot more fun.

I would recommend everyone wanting to get Callisto Protocol to reading this article, it talks about one of the easiest blunder a player can make when playing the game.
