So less than a week away until we find out if EA/Motive can revive the Dead Space franchise.
I watch a bunch of runs of Callisto Protocol and even though the game has faults it felt alive. I tried to watch Dead Space an I’m bored t ok death. It look and feels monotone. While that does add to the horror and feeling off space, the lifeless spaceship and few expose bits here an there really make it fell stale. I feel like calisto protocol did a better job in this department. Still excited for the remake, but i really hope if feels more lively. I know necromorph literally means death and empty space is like death, but a few more gammas would make a world of difference. It just looks too depressing
Yes the old Dead Space has its flaws for today’s standers but back in the day that was peak.
Everyone definitely has their own views so some people might agree with you, where as others would think the opposite.

Yeah, i think the time frame really matters. Still it feels so weird.
Some games age differently for some people when they replay.
Like for example a buddy of mine has gotten sick of most modern shooters so when he picked up “James Cameron’s King Kong the game” it was like a mask was removed from his face so he could breath in some fresh air.
