Sure but to think everyone that has some experience is top tier is laughable, the gap between players on this game is insane. And I dont mean just the randoms potatos.
I also think some players attribute their better performance of their hardware to being more “skilled” than others

You can judge the people by those using the same hardware. Its not even those on PC that have the best hardware and are playing with the highest fps that do better there.

Im not trying to take away your past accomplishments. I simply do not believe you. I don’t believe you were a top player on CoD or MK. I also don’t believe you were the best at this game in its early days like you said the other day.
You’re not satisfied with just being good at the game. In your warped sense of reality you were leaderboard on COD and one of the best PSN players on this game. In reality, you were probably just good at the games you played.
Being able to get your shots off first and be better able to track your targets would get you pretty much to the finish line I’d say

It also takes skill to master parrying. You need that to get to the finish line.
