If it bleeds, it can be killed. Basically, preds are expandable because there are so many of them, while Batman, Superman or DB characters have to win every time or the show would be over. And in those shows, very rarely do villains die, because that’s how you build up future storylines. Heroes have a moral code not to kill and villains never win and never give up and most importantly NEVER learn from their mistakes. Thus you have an eternity of writing material. If you really think about, it’s poor writing to always have a supposed underdog win all the time. Nobody is that lucky and that good.

Tossing my two cents on the whole “simple and easy” part on Isabelle’s observation on Predator tech, there would be two thoughts behind this.
One: she had to deal with Super Predators, so not only she is specifically dealing with this clan, it’s not really clear that the entire Predator race is a bunch of dumb dumbs by extension. Seems like they discarded something that is simply no longer needed so why bother with it? I mean how would she know if the tech they discarded is still usable? I mean take a person from the 14th century and lets see how they can figure out what is right or wrong with a broken car or TV, they wouldn’t even know how it functions anyway so how can she figure this out with alien technology? She basically figured out how some of it works, but in turn she doesn’t even know exactly how it functions, so she is on the same boat of observation as she did on the Super Predators.
Two: Lots of uses of holograms and images means low intelligence somehow? I mean if its easy and simple to use then why complicate things, “work smarter, not harder” as they say so if it works easy for them then isn’t that just fine?
As for Wolf modifying the plasmacaster into a pistol, it does mean not only he knows how it works but functions so he does have education on the tech itself. You don’t need to be a Predator version of Tony Stark to know how a piece of tech works, having a form of understanding it is enough to display that indeed Predators know how thier tech functions. I mean look at us with our PC builds, we can’t make a motherboard from scratch but we do know what does a motherboard is for, what a monitor is, the purpose of a CPU or a memory card, GG or TB. Do the proper fixes or switching of parts for replacing old PC parts with the latest stuff. The Predator race isn’t stupid, it just seems like a simple misunderstood observation on Isabelle’s part to me.

Yautja definitely have enough intelligence to learn how to use the tech, but it doesn’t mean they understand how to make it. They were taught and passed the information down. Perhaps they also learned something new through experimenting. Also, if for the next 100 years information about any tech related to TVs was not passed down, the future person would not know how to fix the TV either.
I wonder how they mass produce the nuke computers or the starships or the masks. Either they are smart enough to have learned the concepts from someone else, which i think is possible, or they have someone else do it for them.
You can probably teach a 14th century person how to troubleshoot and fix a tv provided that they have the parts to do so.

Super Preds don’t even seem that technologically advanced in the first place, at least at the level to keep shit maintained. They dress in leather straps and tarps. Like come on.

Pred Tech is just simple, that doesn’t mean it is indicative of Yautja intelligence because there are numerous examples of Predators being more than just “Durr Hurr, connect the dots- Durrr”.

It was the same model of Plasma Caster even, for the sake of plot convenience. It’s almost like switching sights on two different Rifles that have similar builds.

SPECIFICALLY so that primitives don’t run into your spaceship thats set to its primitive mode defaults and fly away on your primitive mode spaceship or use all your primitive mode stuff against you.

Composite Predator/Alien are at least Multi Solar System Level (Both have fought Post Crisis Superman) but high end is Multiversal+ with the Darkness/Witchblade Crossovers.

In comparison O.W.L.F, as far as they’ve come, are only just learning how to counteract the most basic of Pred shit, that being Cloaking and general reverse engineering of Plasma Weaponry.
The Predator is honestly a (logical) outlier because shit movie.

Nolan had it figured out just being a schizo scavenger and they didnt have the means to find him running around cloaked. Only thing he was missing was a ship at that point.

Doesn’t really follow that they’re extremely intelligently crafting their own stuff then get their ship stolen or cant find a guy cloaked in cosplay. That and they’re constantly getting fucked over by their own equipment or bisected by shields lately. media seems to be leaning towards the opposite of intelligent design. we’re defusing bombs now and arnie’s got a bodycount, now assembling the avengers.
Thats kinda hard to accept considering the hunt and real possibility if dying. In Predators Noland says that they learn from experince and dying, so it seems like they value tech less than the hunt ritual, like it’s expandable and there’s more where that came from.
I forgot about this. One would die and the rest would come back next time with different stuff.

Isn’t it harder to make complicated things simple and accessible to everyone? If there is a dummy mode, then someone must have been smart enough to get rid of all the complexity. Doesn’t mean it were Yautjas, but in general.
I don’t know. It’s hard to fill in the gaps since i know so little besides the hunt itself and supposedly how they rebelled against a more intelligent race and used their tech (if that’s canon)
Custom tailored by another race either slaved or in exchange for protection because yautja are blind cavemen with guns and fingers too crappy for soldering. or oppressed scientist caste. Theres no other reason for the spaceship to have a phone app interface for 12 yr olds. Humans operating pred tech is basically a thing at this point due to how simplified it is.
If there are only a certain amount of gatling gun plasma casters to go around then it only makes sense that the least stupid and least likely to die among the clan gets the gatling gun plasma caster.

That is true, but here’s the thing, Isabelle said they weren’t smart enough to fix ships which I find to be some bs, why leave a ship there and not repair it or not even have a repair system and tools on it…… it doesn’t make sense for predators not to upgrade and repair ships in her tape
The only tech he technically has is a plasma caster, born guantlet and mask, so he does have some tech left over
