Do these tactics work?

Just faced a PC Berserker Predator who was using the elder sword rush down alert as many npcs as you can method. I did not go well for him, in every engagement he had disengage and heal. PS4, None of my team had magnums, snipers nor bane. One Dutch 87, two assault and me as support. He managed to down only Dutch and me once without killing us. No reinforcements were used. Also we were not on coms straight random squad. Unfortunately for him he got melted regardless npcs and the elder sword. So was this Predator mistaken to use these tactics? Also To the Predator I’m sorry the Dutch teabagged after he killed you, I don’t go in for bm when it’s uncalled for.

Bm?
Ppl need to stop being so sensitive lmao.
Getting t bagged isnt the end of the world you know.

That vigorous teabagging was crazy you should’ve seen it

I do that. Works mostly… mostly…

If all you do is rush in melee hopping to drop people from full to 0… And the team is decent… It will not end well for you. More so on berserker who is slow as hell. This tactic works only when you’re faced with a bad team (overall). Now I am not saying you can’t get lucky wins when you down people quickly trough sheer luck but that does not happen often.

Oh my. When you put it like that you make it sound like it was Jack hammer speeds lmao.

Nah he should have used ranged… but ps4 players know shooting those projectile weapons accurately is a pain in the ass

I’m talking gonzo jackhammer nan sheesh

The best tactic I’ve found is “stay moving”

Berserker is the worst for this

At night?..

I’ve run into a few zerkers lately that actually pull this off half way decent. Adrenal boost and long jump and it’s not as terrible. I ran that build pre 2.0 and it was kinda fun. I’ve been wanting to try it since but I’ve been experimenting elsewhere lately. Probably try it this week though

Baaad teams are most common.

Haha, it was a fun game but you had massive luck at the end there. 3 of them in 1 place so you can clave them all down at the same time and nobody parried. I don’t even know how they did not hear you coming, perhaps they had some bad headsets. You RUN in, not even leaping, you pick the heavy footsteps really easy.

Thing is the net gun only works against uncoordinated bad players. Its extremely OP against those and completely useless against decent players that coordinate. I mean if a predator nets a guy, I just instantly brake that guy out and the predator get’s quite a few bullets in.

Going in melee, even if you down 1 you should not be able to do more. I mean check your engagement at around 3:20. Now imagine 3 PC players would good aim training you as you hit that guy and the guy getting hit get’s 1 parry in.

Yes, most teams (like the vast majority in my opinion) this works fine since lots of potatoes playing FT but that is why I said going against decent players its not going to end well for you, unless you get some insane luck (like you just got in that vid you posted).

Yes. Melee is garbage, tbagging was warranted & people shooting at him will obliterate him in seconds at that distance, especially with how easy it is to get headshots while pred is stuck in the dumb combo flourishes. Alternatively, mash wildly at him with your knife & watch him panic until he learns to just hide in a tree with a bow or bunnyhop around nonstop like a monkey.

Melee is NOT garbage. This is like saying melee on FT is garbage if you try to play the entire game with only the knife (like doing missions and fighting the predator with only the knife).

“Luck, often enough will save a man, if his courage holds…”

I have to say you’re really lucky lol. I bet they did not even have masks :)

Melee isn’t effective. One parry and the Predator is done so forget pulling off full combos. Hit and run can be very effective against an uncoordinated fireteam but if 2 people know what they’re doing that’s quickly countered. All in all Pred melee is practically obsolete at this point if more than 1 ft player is paying attention.
