Do we think a Damage boost Cap?

Interesting. Do you think this is because we usually play on a computer monitor (which is by nature more crisp than a TV display) and console players play on TV? Or do you think is the hardware itself?

From the streams I’ve seen, I’d say the best visual experience comes from the PS5. I’ve seen streams from players on a RTX 3080 and is ridiculous that the gameplay is smoother on a PS5 than on that graphics card.

As for the audio… I’m not sure I follow. I do see on streams the vast majority of console players leave the music on, which definitely affects how you spot the pred using audio cues. But do you really think headphones sound different on PC than on a console? I have various headsets, they all sound different, but individually, each one sounds exactly the same no matter if I use them on a mobile device or a computer.

This is trivial. They could change these anytime. Controller habits are set in stone. TV sound, tV music, 5.1 or stereo these can all be adjusted on a whim.
PS Controllers will ALWAYS BE FUCKERSHIT slouvaki burnt chicken.

Move sideways (strafe) in the opposite direction you are aiming. It ain’t that hard. It’s basic physics/geometry. You will complete the turn faster. Think of it like when you drift a car to make a sharp turn.

I do think it’s monitor vs TV and honestly sound card quality vs console sound (admittedly second part may be my imagination but sound seems clearer and easier to determine distance on PC). I don’t think these translate quite really the same through stream and recording though.

Actually, this would just lead to Support still being the strongest class. Just slap on double time and Fast Hands. Supports would share the damage resistance, no stacking already anyway. Finally, Field Medic is still too strong without dexterous.

Personally, even with double time support is still too slow to me, plus there’s better more utility combinations. That’s me though, I lean towards scout double time anyway so…bias clear lol

May be right about FM but I don’t want to nerf it into oblivion, just make it not a crutch. Have to play around with revive times to find the sweet spot I’d say

Okay. Now that you guys are talking about controllers vs PC. Other games already have a solution for that.
Controllers only crossplay
Honestly though, I don’t think Illfonic was really ever intending to make this game competitive. It seems like they were only focused on the experience of battling a predator.

to me the FM pain is not the speed but the amount of health. It should have never been more health, just faster speed. syrettes are still slow acting, so when a team member is revived, you can still down them with one shot if the FM would revive them with normal health and not 60% health. That’s also the other problem. FM reviving another support is 120HP, which is almost the full health of a recon or scout, because almost everything is fucking percentage based on this game. It should be a fixed amount of HP regardless of the class. I’d say 50 should be more than enough, maybe even 40

I think the health boost on revive is manageable. Although to be completely honest, I haven’t played as, or played against an effective field medic in forever so it’s hard for me to judge. I do feel that the speed doesn’t allow to punish the support or Dante doing the revive enough and also throws an extra gun on you way too quick.

The pyramids made more sense than what yo just said. now explane yo mofo self!

a good aim-assist system should suffice. or just turn off crossplay between consoles and pc altogether…
right now the problem is that on pc, if you turn crossplay off, steam and epic players cannot play together

AIM ASSIST by and lArge is a combination of controller tactics using strafing etc (this already exists but by no means is it assisted by computerized means) . AUTO (automatic and or algorithmically calculated) AIM ASSIST : PHHH. thats not going to happen. UNless the game actually has some built-in kind of auto aiming thing into the content and game.

oh, ok.
Crossplay off is understood.

Some Specialisations and passives need tweaking, but I do agree, replace some perks for more gameplay oriented and class only specific perks, for example OWLF operative, it could have a singular perk which combines Bane and Owlf trained into one perk but you take increased damage from A.I.

Field Medic as a specialisation needs a tweak, instead any health oriented gear costs half and pick up speed is only 25% faster and restores 25% extra hp.

Dutch 2025 should have Bane and Owlf trained as class only perks.

Assault should have increased damage to A.I. passively.

Buff Shotguns against Pred.

Some crossplay games detect and require inputs from a controller to play against other players that are playing with controllers, regardless of what system you’re using.

I was mentioning this same idea to my friends the other day. 20% damage boost should be the max for both factions. Standard pick up time with field medic should be 3 seconds and 2 seconds with dexterous, fair?

Dexterous is a simple modifier, so Field Medic at 3 seconds would automatically be 2.4 seconds with Dexterous.

Stacks with bane and reckless making you a pain in the ass for melee spammers that don’t bob n weave
