Do we think a Damage boost Cap?

I’d rather all specializations and perks have a positive and negative outcome to them. Like if you want bane you’ll do more damage but you’ll take More damage as a result or if you want thick skin you’ll reduce damage taken but your damage dealt will be lowered.

This will make it so if you want to specialize in damage you’ll do so while sacrificing something in return and this should prevent people from stacking all the good perks together.

Just lower damage 50% to all

and get rid of AI grenades… they are more dangerous than a pred

Yes plz do! Lol! They come from no where with a audio clue that rarely happens and they seem to be cooked like the ft nades

In conclusion we have brainstormed Ideas and come to the general consensus that a cap to the damage buffs would not be needed! If the damage for both sides is adjusted to be effective with teamwork and more cunning tactics over just sheer dps!

The damage output with the stackable buffs is too extreme for both sides for any proper balance changes to be made without first reducing the damage of all sources by 20%.

This then will make Each individual FT character and Predator unique and have a very distinct play style! This will insure dynamic Gameplay and over all healthy game play tactics rather than abusing a mechanic to win!

Thank you all for your help! And may the Next thread be fruitful

What if I’m on a team of 6 year olds though?

Then you better bring a towel I guess?

Reduce 50% damage to pred, ai and ft

This will extend the fight. As pred, you can’t down a ft so easy, but you are not winded in 6 seconds. Your job is to nag and wear down the FT. Make them waste bullets and medkits. Prevent them from completing objectives so fast. As it is right now, you wind a pred in less than 10 seconds and now you have about 2 or 3 minutes to run objectives. Missions are so short that by the time pred engages a second time the mission is almost over. If you lower damage, FT has to deal with “stronger” AI, but because AI damage is nerfed as well, they are just more of a nuisance. You as pred become a nuisance as well, until they are worn, they’ve exhausted their resources and they start to split apart desperately looking for resources. Now is your time to go in for the kills.

If you just nerf FT, Pred is going to have it easy. It can’t be that way. It has to be exhausting and difficult for everybody. 10 or 20 percent reduction is just not enough.

I am a big fan of this idea. At the moment it is glass cannon vs glass cannon. Maybe 50% is too much though. A slight nerf to AI damage would be nice too, especially shotguns.

I would also like a rework of specialisations to have some more defensive ones.

Im not sure where everyone isgetting their experience from. Is it playingas PC or PS? Because once you start writing from one of these perspectives you’ll have to explain yourself to the others.
I find it that no one here is doing that which means you need to start thinking from both sides before anyone (creditable) gives you the thumbs up. (take a look at who is hearting your post! doesnot look like you’re getting it from both sides).

Jelou and Psychobabas you know where you’re coming from. I know where you’re coming from. Do PS players know what the hell you’re talking about? If the devs make any changes based off your intel, its not going to bode well for PSers.

Crossplay poses two problems:

  1. PC Deathsquads(you guys are so predictably OP) over powering PC PReds easily by being tight.(Thats good but still there is no breathing room- or error with DS) - I suggest a knockout throw mechanic for a 30meter toss with no loss of health to FT.
  2. PC Preds over powering PS FTs (this is being overcome btw by strategic FT or hardware enhanced peripherals on PS). I think this scenerio is still in good shape but terrible for…the 5 year olds (RIP kiddies).

Crossplay Off for PS (all players are PS):
I don’t know…you guys complain about bugs more so than actual strategy. Should we actually hear you guys out? It seems more so you guys act like whiny children than adults playing a game of strategy.

the whole crossplay argument is bullshit because the only difference between Pc and console is the input method. I have played this game with both controller and K&M. If you are a potato, input is not gonna help you. I’ve also played with other players both on console and PC using controllers. Potato/Potato. There are really good players on both sides. Having a $5,000 PC ain’t gonna help you if your are bad.

Arguably the major problem with console is the old PS4 which runs this game like crap. Pro PS4 runs much better and PS5, the standard console now, runs the game even better than a $3,000 PC, which is stupid, but it is what it is.

I’ve played with enough variety of players on all platforms with a wide skill variety and with both input methods to understand what I am talking about

Bad “playing” is still bad playing. Which sums up your response. If you’re out for V then you’re a potatoe it doesn’t matter what platform you’re on.

Its just that PS/xbox controllers will never help the FT as turning 360 and running in the opposite direction is impossible.

Again, i want to reiterate that playing as Predator on Controllers are plausable and players are managing overcoming FT PC players . But that still leaves FT PS players in limbo.
There has NOT been any improvement other than running and dodging like hell. Not sure if sweating like that is their normal.

PS5 is not the standard console yet

And ps4 pro fps still drops to below 20

so does a comparable GTX 1060 hahahahaha

what? Of course you can. Not instantly, if that’s what you meant, but you totally can. There are other ways you can overcome such issues.

Why dont you enlighten 100%of the players who use controllers. And dont say time it well and get gud.

But you know what i’m saying. Its not that scenerio. Its the scenerio where you want to ‘dart’ in the other direction quickly while aiming. For PC mice, its a flick of the wrist, for PS controllers its a push and wait. But i guess they can adjust their controller sensitivty but 100% of the time they NEVER DO!.

You can’t trust PS players to do right by their controllers. EVER. They almost think that their control settings should be good for Minecraft, Tomb Raider, RDR2 and fucking STreet fighter. and if they suck, they dont give flying fuck! Wait! I’m describing my own PS account! Well fuck me! Ill stick to PC thank you!

Well i guess im the small 1% majority who can afford a personal computer in the year 1999 which is when i started purchasing PC parts. For others, they can’t even afford a fucking graphic calculator in the year 2021!!! Lets just say PS players are Walmart gamers. they will do terribly for themselves forever.

He’s got a point but it’s a minor one. It’s less about controls and more about A/V quality. I personally believe the game is better from an audio visual point on PC. We’re not playing entirely different games but…PC does have a slight advantage to seeing and hearing the pred coming.

Again this is slight…and honestly has absolutely nothing to do with the points any of us have made. Having played on PS4, PS5 and now PC…the core gameplay is the core gameplay

No just balance it so the max damage isn’t op
