Does anyone else feel the devs are gunna neglect this game?

So the last announcement from the devs was the 28th of april, and we havent heard anything for ten days given the current state of the game it would be nice to know if they are still listening and working on MATCHMAKING ISSUES! If it says estimated time 5 minutes why are we waiting plus 10 minutes!

I really fear for the game. The devs silence, lack of mods is worrying. I have never played a game before where it’s nothing but radio silence. Utterly awful imho.

Lol when devs think, that droping a buggy as fuck game is enough for them to walk away form it LOL

1.06 was released last Friday. 1.05 shortly before that. Thats 2 whole business days of ā€œsilenceā€. The only way to get more dev feedback is if they start posting the meeting notes from their daily standups lol.

Dead by daylight is a small game yet has devs talking and replying to forums on a daily basis. All they need to do is just be around and answer a few peoples worries/questions to acknowledge this forum isn’t a complete waste of time.

At the moment it just feels like everything is falling on deaf ears.

Their career and future are in their hands. I’m expecting a new patch or news this friday.
For an online exclusive title I’m shocked by seeing this weak and buggy matchmaking.

il say one thing. i dont like their lack of silence or literally saying nothing or even addressing the matchmaking issues etc etc. and lack of things to do in the game

The game was just released. They have already released two patches so they are listening. Maybe there will be a new patch on friday. We don’t know. Also they have done few interviews recently. This just few days ago:

They talk about the feedback and balance. They also say that they want to keep bringing content.

I couldn’t agree more with your sentiment .

no, cause they pushed 2 patches in 2 weeks

right now playing this game means being 60% of the time in matchmaking, 10% having to reset due to unpopulated or full lobbies but with that eternal ā€œwaitingā€, and 30% in the actual game
At least the game is awesome (specially after the last patch)

3 patches in less than 2 weeks during a global pandemic which likely has most the team working from home or with reduced numbers in an office due to distancing and restrictions etc.

All things considering they are doing an amazing job. Seriously, people need to take certain things into account before panicking.

Yep, agree with you - the waiting times are interminable. And as you say, there is the makings of a fine game here. But. I’d really like to see more ā€˜direct’ communication from the devs. Hell! Even the odd comment from someone acting as a forum moderator would be nice (and judging by the tone of some of the content posted in some of other forum discussions, it would be welcomed).

they would get ripped to shreds if they contributed to the forum. people on here are fuckin spastic. bigger companies have been equally silent. while i agree it is not my favorite way of doing things. i dont think they are going to make the sweeping changes people are expecting in any kind of timeframe so why entertain half of the crazy nonsense on this forum? every one has a better way to redesign the game ( myself included) but all that shit has nothing to do with the devs. I do agree they could at least leave a comment or something on serious discussions regarding balance but then again the same 5 threads keep coming up everyday. so maybe ā€œwe hear youā€ is sufficient.

stop ya bitching! they read everything and see everything and we are in a pandemic you entitled beansprout. enjoy the game and cut them some slack… they said it themselves that if we dont here from them then they are working hard.

they update their twitter pretty often with community stuff.

More like Hardly working

Given the state of the world with COVID-19, way patches work on console, the approval period and all, I’m not surprised they’re quiet.

Still, lots of studios have updated how they’re working and their limitations in the situation.

I’m curious about Illfonic’s situation.

Ontop of that, it might just be such a huge piece of work that they’re not ready to announce anything because thrun haven’t figured it all out.

Y’all are being ridiculous. There have been 3 patches in less than two weeks. They’re obviously working on it. They need to continue to support this title as it’s their latest and newest/most current project. Why would they put so much time into it to just ignore it? Also, how would they not close their doors as a result? Lol.

It hasn’t even been two weeks yet. Jesus.

This is why they need mods to filter the BS from the legitimate feedback. Even if you are not addressing changes, it’s nice to actually have communication. It shows the team are there, care and want to socialise with their community. I’m not expecting anything ground breaking but i also don’t expect radio silence, even more so when this is the official forum.
