Ok, well if it is as significant an issue as you claim, Illfonic will likely have an idea as to how many it’s affecting - if it really is a large number then I would expect a hot fix in the next day or two. If one doesn’t appear it would suggest the issue is only affecting a small number of people or is fixed by doing something in game.
Does illfonic think to compensate the players in some way for the problems caused ???

Given that there haven’t been any substantial changes to the game in the last patch (No map or game mode additions) I would imagine it would be quite quick to isolate the problem issue (which seems to stem from gear cost and set load-outs judging by the forum) and fix the issue.
From what people have been commenting on, I can deduce that it has to do with the new Dutch, and equipment… that when wearing them in some kit, eventually it ends up crashing … but I can be wrong, I only say it because of what here it reads
Whatever the cause, I have to admit it doesn’t bode well for when they start adding the bigger game mode/map content.

Idk that seems kind of pointless don’t you think? Here’s a skin for all you who played for (unspecified amount of time, could be the first day the game launched, first month, constantly for the last 3-1/2 months) yo those who weren’t there you can buy it with the easily obtainable in-game currency pretty much rendering any of that compensation useless since now it’s available to anyone.
man I think that something no matter how little it is always better than nothing … we are talking about some gesture by illfonic to the community, anyway it should be illfonic who decides what it is. and it should come out of them. Anyway that people stop making comparisons with games of poor quality, you have to compare yourself to the best that is the way to progress (I say this last because someone will say that there are other games that make it worse … and what about the many who do it better?)

Carallo, I think it possible they might give a gift skin or something like 25,000 Vert (the equivalent of a Mythic skin). It isn’t something they have to do, but they might, because they actually do care about the community.
I’m not sure why Knucking is having such a hard time with you specifically, so just ignore him. He’s a good guy most of the time and we all get frustrated.
I think if I was in a position to decide, I’d use the Mythic Skull and Spine, just add a tint to it. Give everyone a new type of field locker that has the coloured Spine. That way if they do run into trouble down the line, they already have a system in place to alleviate some of the negativity.

The internet can be tricky, many cultures (especially online ones) don’t see the harm in wishing ill on others. Doesn’t mean they actually do want the ill they are projecting to happen. More often it’s intended as an insult, implying worthlessness.
Personally I’m not a fan, it isn’t a fun way to insult people. Makes it into a personal attack and puts you in a corner.
sony and epic are video game platforms and partners of this particular game … but not its developers. I would complain to sony if it happened widely in their games … but it happens only in some and specifically in this one. therefore it is the fault of the developers. uses unrrealengine technology widely tested and widespread on PlayStation. so if it’s illfonic’s fault. by the way they pay you or something ??? They can’t defend themselves … do they need you ??? Would you complain to the brand of dvd players if the dvd of your favorite movie is defective ??? or to the editor ???
Multiple games on my ps4 platform stopped working, and the seemingly same error is happening to pc it doesnt take a genius to figure out the common thread is epic and Sony as they’re the companies working the crossplay, and no they dont have to pay me it’s a pleasure not to have my pay affected by telling you you’re a whiny piece of shit

Illfonic can still choose to do what they would like. No one is forcing them or threatening them. Just talking about ways they could say ‘our bad, this shits complicated, we understand being on the player side and feeling powerless to do anything. Some of our players haven’t been able to play over the weekend and while we can’t make it up to you. Here is a small gift to the player base as an apology.
