It’s simple, some people express they wish to be treated a certain way, it hurts no one and there’s evidence that allowing them to be treated how they want is of benefit to them.
Identity is a conceptual thing that is both personal and a social construct, people’s expression within that construct isn’t inherently negative. Got that.

There’s not really much point in continuing this discussion though to be fair. Debates are great because you learn from the other side and your view broadens and potentially your views change. But at what point is it still a debate? Just like this one they’ll turn into a back and forth of seeing who can nudge who over but you’re just nudging a brick wall that simply won’t budge. When you realise you’re going nowhere with the conversation it’s best to move on to keep your mind healthy. So just give up trying to nudge the unmovable wall before it turns into a flurry of personal attacks eh? ;)

You can talk about sexes without using the word gender, but gender’s entire foundation are the two sexes. Because again, its an imaginary term with no basis in reality and long peices of cloth, high heels, and so on are not inherently female. Attributing those kind of associations is inherently sexist, IE much like you identifying as black because you like rap music is inherently racist. It’s a regressive cult of feelings and beliefs founded on stereotypes. The rest of the strings attached are arbitrary social constructivism pedantics. Make sense?

It isn’t a linguistic game, it is linguistics. We use use words to express concepts to one another. Them having a foundation is why they are useful, we however define them by what we observe. Times change, meanings evolve. The world is different than it was 50 years ago, it’s going to keep changing and language is changing right along side it.
Look your opinion is just that an opinion. It doesn’t reflect any great truth. Culturally for me and most of the modern world Trans people exist and deserve the same decency and respect as anyone else.
Like I said before, things are changing.
