It’s not a matter of finesse, it’s a matter of viability.
You know what requires no finesse? Elder Stalker slamming people down with Smart Discs. Analytic Preds Blasting people down with Caster. Fervent Preds getting 15% free extra damage from all sources.
range weapons take more skill than melee weapons, aside from the combi and two handeds
melee weapons’ require you to dive a ft with a game where a preadtor dies in 2s or less from pistols and there can potentially be more than 1 not to mention you can parry said attacks to stun the predator for 1 second
ranged weapons let you sit at far where damage dropoff is and use tree armor the only counter is sniper rifles not too mention the best ranged weapon is aoe so you don’t have to have perfect aim or a smart disc that pc users can change it’s turn speed at will

shooting at range only helps vs potato teams who cant aim a decent team is gona wreck your face at any range its about ambusing when versing a good team imo
lol ambushing a team who has surround sound headphones good one and 60fps refresh rate monitors
vs a good team is just about good movement and reaction decision making that’s it

Celopatra is for all intended purposes, actually a perfect class. She is meant to be slow, but while she requires Boost to be mobile, stacking Enraged on that or even without Boost takes away her biggest weakness while sacrificing potential damage potential.
And she still gets to carry all the gear Berserker would. And better Perk Space. She preforms Berserker’s job but obviously better and Berserker went from mediocre to dogshit.
there’s always finesse as pred by hiding popping up and landing a quick flick shot or landing quick flicks at mid to lose range targets

never said it was ambushing dint even imply that i dont really cover shoot vs death squads since they carry grenades and such to punish that, ill jump in for a quick swipes from a blind spot, jump out repeat and/or shoot from an ambush postion.
id say work on getting better than you are so you dont feel the need to use an exploit, good is subjective i dont care so much about how good yount ne are and more about the fact that you feel you need the exploit
Literally every Fervent player plays with a exploit. Literally every Analytic player plays with a exploit.

ANYONE can do that vs Potatos. I can kill Stoogie or fucking anyone who has “finesse” or “skill” in a team otherwise filled with Potatos.
Being good in this game, is knowing more about the game than your opponent does.
What if Analytic is meant so if you scan the ft once you get the extra damage to the rest of the match ? Its useless if ft can just mud up to take the extra damage away. Otherwise we just go back to when preds had no specs. And fervert only gives me extra damage on the first guy, I have vids which shows the damage I have given to ft after the first kill and its only doing 15% more from downrange.

If the Fervent thing is true, I think a new look at Fervent is needed.
Literally every single member of the Top 10% in this game cheats, like hard cheats intentionally. They put Specs on classes that shouldn’t have them. Just earlier today I was fighting an actually good player who was running Assault Sniper for shits & giggles because we were doing a Private for fun and to test some shit out with the Bots.
There’s a mile difference between putting Sniper on an Assault for a free 15% on top of 10% from bullet damage & 10% from Yautja’s Bane, intentionally glitching the game out for meta builds, and realizing “Oh, this spec lets me move faster at the cost of I can’t stack damage as high in a game built around damage.” after seeing the buff doesn’t go away during a few matches.
