Experience of PC predator

Vs PS team: toy with them and draw the match out to have fun. feel a bit sorry for them. Almost always win.

Vs mixed PS and PC team: be a little careful, but still have fun with it. Most likely win.

Vs full PC team: Will be difficult going. May win or not win. Hope its not an UBER premade.

Vs Full Uber PC premade: No fun at all getting shot and spotted before you even see the fireteam at all, they camp your pigs, they track and run you down. No fun at all.

idk man so far i’ve only lost against PC players when i’m trying out diffrent equipment from patch changes
ie like when i tried the club and the disc for a few games

whenever i’m running my go to’s i never struggle or lose for that matter and i’ve went up against at least 5 premades at this point 2 of them were from this very forum

Yep. Eventually you realize the pred has limited angles of approach and the directional noises are a dead giveaway. That’s if he can get close by sprinting instead of scarcily using leap bc that’s just free damage for the FT.

On these two tree branches? Mash spot. Hit? If no, mash spot the rooftop. Hit? If no mash spot the ground. X4.
On the rare chance they don’t know exactly where the pred is it takes a few seconds max for one person to land a random spot and then everyone can laser him.

They don’t split or lose line of sight ever.
Melee is useless because you’re never going to get close enough and even if you cornercheck one person and get 1-2 free hits in you’ll get parried and the stun allows them to light you up.

Currently the only viable weapon vs a pc premade that can aim is the bow and you have to reposition with your very obvious cloak every shot because you cannot outdamage the fireteam. They know that if they didn’t see the shimmering grey blob jump on the roof that the pred is just going to pop out of the otherside of the building. Too easy to read whatever the predator is doing & everything makes noise. It’s like you’re playing HUNT:Showdown vs one person on open maps.

Nicely written…

I play on ps4, and i met very good ps4 Fireteams that can give hardtime to any pred…pc or ps4 really doesent matter… Pred is still melted in seconds if all FT players focus fire on pred, leap relocation spam and hit and run works good againts these dudes…but sometimes even not this lol

bow still pretty usseless against pc, BUT it better that any ranged weapon, maybe only full charged plasma with aoe damage 🤔

Caster’s too much of a giveaway because you have to strafe out of cover due to the laser and the cloak’s just as visible as a sprinting pred when you’re just strafing.

Yeah better to use caster from a LOS position like a building roof, just harass and back off after each shot, its hard vs a PC sniper, but theres ways to make sure you trade damage efficiently.

Everyone who’s played pred before knows you’re on the roof lol. Peek and lose your mask.

not understand. With bow you have same problems as plasma cater. You can play with caster as with rushing bow and shoot not charged, as you do it with bow but it much harder and less dmg. Charged plasma give you to chance to damage without hiting target. But bow still your only weapon

It means you can use this tactic 1-2 times and then RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

nah you just play scout and keep moving.

don’t forget to look up on roofs when u play vs full PC teams lol, they’re up there chillin

Meh. I’ve gone up against several premade pc FT and of those I lost against were because I made noob mistakes like re-engaging before second wind was off cooldown. But boy let me tell you how salty those guys get when you wipe them.

OP hit the nail on the head here, and that’s why I don’t play much anymore. Very few matches as pred are fun and/or interesting. On top of that, I can’t even unlock any new customization items by playing well, its all luck-based.

sweet sweet FT favored rng lol

and getting damage

Yeah but as long as you shoot and face away you’re good, as scout you can leap half the map in a few seconds, eat a pig and get right back to poking at them.
